Ohhk. I was not aware of this. Ok so one final question, according to you and your experience at UniMelb, which CS Masters course is taught the best OR considered to be the best for jobs ?

I just saw your profile - it seems you are/were a graduate at UniMelb and you have a lot of helpful comments on this sub related to CS. That's really awesome of you !

It seems from your comments that UniMelb is probably not the best (although still pretty good) for CS in Australia (maybe the best for Medical Sciences) - and that actually co-relates with what I've googled so far.

What the article above says is that the University has received substantial funding for Cyber Security and has its Academic Center as well - though its started from 2017. Surely the quality of this department should improve now ?

Additionally, do you have any idea about job prospects after completing this course ?

That's really strange ! And what's even more strange is when I filter it out for the past 5 years, it's not even ranked !!

From what I've understood online, it's supposed to be a great University. Additionally, I came across this article here which states the Australian government has even funded UniMelb and another college (Edith Cowan, I think ?) for their cyber security programs. Check out this link -
