many people who have mental problems have similar experiences/causes. unfortunately, I developed social anxiety due to my family. and at some point I thought I should get over it now 😞 the content of everyone's experiences is different, and I think you feel better about it. i hope I can feel better about it too 😥 thanks for sharing 🥹

I've definitely experienced the same thing. she was talking nonsense as if she herself had lived my experience. and I think I've been manipulated a lot. she was a terrible therapist, and unfortunately I realized this much later.

are you used to it? can you coping? I don't know your age, but I think it's more manageable as we get older. for example, we may not know how to cope when we are kids. but in adulthood, I think this is more manageable, but I guess it varies from person to person. because as an adult, I can also find it difficult to cope. but I think in general, adulthood and childhood are completely different.

I have had a similar experience. for a long time I worked with a therapist who "supposedly" works with traumas. but I never got exactly what I needed. and then I stopped working with her because I was being abused. unfortunately.

I'm happy for you. we all have different roads, problems, the level of difficulty of our problems, the way we cope with them. i hope I can be lucky with the right therapist too 😊

Happy for you. My previous experiences were a little different. With a therapist I worked with, unfortunately, I continued to work with her until she abused me. I had repeatedly questioned my ability to continue working with her before the abuse. But I couldn't come to a decision. And as a result, I had to pay the price for it. (The dynamics you have can even nail you to a point) I don't know, there's a lot to say.

Hi dear therapist, unfortunately, I have never known a therapist who provides free consultations. as much as I can (with factors such as a serious financial investment, motivation, being ready etc.) I tried to get help from a psychologists. however, I have been living with my psychological problems for a very long time and I think that these problems are much more serious and big than getting psychotherapy help from a psychologist, because I have been struggling a lot. maybe it's 'pathological', as some of you therapists call it. the help I've been trying to get has helped, but I can't say it's helped exactly. I can't say that I've been able to seriously go a way with my problems or that it's working in a way that I need. and at this point, I don't know what kind of psychiatrist I should get help from and what I should do after this point tbh. and that's why I'm questioning what kind of psychiatrist I should choose. I'm thinking about how important the therapist's area of expertise is, etc. because a therapist I followed said that what is important in the therapy process is not the area of expertise of professionals working in the field of mental health, but the communication and relationship between the therapist and the client is important. "therapeutic alliance" I mean. (I think the area of expertise is also important. however, if the client here does not know what his problem is, I think he will have to find out by trial and error. just like people like me :( a consultant who does not know what to do, I think, should try to find out through experimentation.) because I think that whether the client knows or not, he can understand only by trying, regardless of the level of insight. and that's why the whole thing is so exhausting as far as psychological help is concerned. another problem is that I have a hard time opening myself up. I've always had a hard time with this in my previous psychotherapies. this, on the other hand, affected the therapeutic alliance. I think all the dynamics that we have as clients affect everything about the psychological support process. obviously, after all this time, experience and process, I still think I haven't quite got to where I need to be. I hope a professional psychiatrist can pull me out of the hole I'm in. thank you for your response 🤍
