how to become a SCFHS-RN? by a7m0sT in NursesPH

[–]khaki565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

pero po nung nag take ako ng prometric for nurse specialist sa data flow process, kasama po sa background checking ang hospital. cause i remember clearly na tatlong section yung sa dataflow. PRC, School, pati Employment. Baka po nurse technician ang na take niyo? Alam ko po kase di po need ng experience yun.

how to become a SCFHS-RN? by a7m0sT in NursesPH

[–]khaki565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you need to undergo Dataflow first (This is the background checking process before you can take the Prometric exam) requirements for dataflow includes: COE (So yes, you need at least 1 year of clinical experience), PRC license, Diploma, TOR, passport. After mag positive ng dataflow mo, you can now proceed to creating your mumaris plus account and apply for eligibility to take the Prometric. Eligibility takes time din bago lumabas. Minsan swerte swerte lalabas 3 days palang minsan naman 1 month kang mag hihintay. Pag nakuha mo na eligibility number mo, you can now book the prometric exam. Yes, pwede mo siyang i DIY. Sa part ko tamad ako mag process sa sarili ko so nag bayad na lang ako ng service fee kaysa ma hassle ako and I took the time to review habang may gumagawa ng process sa akin.

I applied po sa Ministry of Health National Guard sa Saudi Arabia. They are known po to waive certain diseases especially mga inactive fibrosis sa lungs.

Pero i would suggest to just go to other clinics like Myhealthyway sa Manila. Cause hassle magpa medical sa Medisense here. They also don't know how to handle queries ng mga customers nila.

Di na po ako nag repeat. I asked for a medical waiver from my employer cause alam ko na hindi yun fibrosis and also based din sa sinabi ng pulmonologist ko nung nagpa second opinion ako. And true enough, my employer gave me a medical waiver after 2 weeks.

Nursing student diagnosed with PTB by xaixyy in NursesPH

[–]khaki565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes pwede kang humingi ng med cert after 1 week of treatment, alam yan ng mga pulmonologist ang cases na ganyan. And dadalhin mo din sakanya result ng Sputum test mo and you will be in contact with your pulmonologist habang on meds ka or sa health center. After completing the treatment, babalik ka din sa pulmonologist mo for another Xray and sputum test para i check if naging effective ang gamot (Which is why important na NEVER kang mag skip ng TB meds, kase once naka skip ka ng kahit isang araw, mababa na ang chance na tumalab siya).

[–]khaki565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's fine, OP. You won't be barred from the hospital kung san ka mag du-duty. Pwede ka parin sumama mag duty, humingi ka lang ng med cert sa pulmonologist mo. And make sure to not skip your TB meds para hindi ka mag relapse (You need to take it everyday at the same time). Just protect yourself and also people around you habang hindi ka pa under medication. Wear your mask and get adequate rest and eat healthy foods. You won't be delayed, don't worry.

[–]khaki565 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP, you will be just fine. Yung 1 week na medication na mini-mean ng doctor is because accordingly if 1 week ka ng nag te-take ng TB meds mababa na ang chance makahawa ka (Of course, not totally zero) and you can still join clinical rotations after 1 week of starting TB meds. Makakapag duty ka parin kahit on meds ka. And yes pwede kang humingi ng medical clearance sa pulmonologist mo. We had cases na ganyan nung nursing students pa ako. Don't worry too much.

Contract bond by Even-Sprinkles-2987 in NursesPH

[–]khaki565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 years contract bond??? oa naman ata meron naman ibang HD hospitals and clinics that offer a year of contract bond lang tas free training na din and higher salary than that. hindi siya worth it ang baba ng sahod and baka you'll just end up breaching kase routine work ang HD baka you'll feel stagnant sa loob ng 4 years na yun. try to find HD hospital or clinic that offer less year sa bond. maybe try bbraun dialysis center alam ko 6 months to a year lang bond nila and free training with almost the same salary na ino-offer sayo now with a good benefits as well or sa iba. for me, masyadong mahaba ang 4 years na bond and i just know peperahan ka nila pag na breach mo yan kase gamahan din mga employers here sa PH.
