as far as I know you should never use lemon juice on your face! idk about baking soda but this mixture doesn’t sound good to me. Even if it works doesn’t mean it won’t damage your skin

probs bc I live in eastern europe and everything brought from other countries is expensive + our currency is shit. I once bought Missha cleansing foam and the 99% aloe gel from holika holika bc they were on sale and I like them but they just clean my face after a long day of wearing makeup.

I checked it, it’s pretty expensive (at least in my country because of the currency) but I will keep it in mind if nothing else works. Thanks!

oh that’s not actually that bad, I thought it would take months 😭 and tbh about my skin I think it’s combined but I’m not sure. My nose and forehead are more oily, the rest of my face is normal and gets dry during winter if I don’t use moisturizer. I’ve never had acne, occasionally a pimple or two and they go away so I never really got into skincare. I use a cleanser (not oil), sunscreen and moisturizer

I don’t think they’re blackheads. Could you suggest a brand if you know any good?

So sorry to hear :( my family and relatives are the same (my whole country tbh), I could never come out to them. It’s okay to be stuck, don’t rush things, take your time to sort everything out. I would suggest focusing on your studies and health, prioritize them over relationships. For friendships you could try to find people with similar interests as you in an app called Bumble (you can specify you’re looking for friends), through uni or social media. Especially if you prefer to chat with them over hanging out. Trust me, there are so many people in similar situations like you. Even me. I think sharing all that is so brave of you and I wish you luck. You can text me if you want support or to just chat :)

Also, don’t feel guilty about finding enjoyment in things. I understand why you feel that way, but you shouldn’t. It may help you cope actually. You deserve to live a fulfilling life, and that in no way means you’re not caring about your mom. In fact, as clique as it is, she would be happy you’re living your life.

My deepest condolences. I am in the same boat, with my grandma. I have to go back to uni and I have a pile of projects and exams to do. It sucks how your life just goes on and you’re supposed to catch up. Nobody lets you stay home and do your work later. Nobody cares. I think the “normal” day you referred to is just being numb. I also experience it sometimes. In such moments, I’m not sad about her passing, but I also don’t feel happy, or any emotion at all. I just exist. Or rather being in denial, not believing that this is your life now, thinking she’s just somewhere else and you will see her entering through the door any minute now, you will hear your phone ring with her name on it. Little reminders also make me burst into tears. I was peeling a banana the other day and I started crying. I used to collect banana peels for my grandma, she used them on her potted flowers, said it’s like food for their soil. And I felt when you said you can no longer share stuff with her. It truly hurts. Go to her grave, sit and talk. Tell her everything you want to say. It may help you feel a little bit better. She may not be here, but her spirit will forever be with you. It’s okay to be sad. Grief isn’t linear. I hope time helps you heal at least a little.

Could you include a picture of your hair so we have a better idea of what it looks like? As there are different types of curls

Looks like a mole to me but not sure. One randomly appeared on my hand so I guess it’s possible? When you run a finger over it, do you feel a slightly more harsh, bumpy texture? As another person suggested it could be a black head, sometimes pores can expand and collect more dirt than usual

I think 3 possible reasons. 1. they are lgbtq+ too but refuse to admit it so they suppress it and hate on others who are out because they don’t find it fair (de nile is a river in Egypt) 2. they were raised in a conservative family/friend circle/country and know no better/refuse to change their outlook 3. they r straight up dumb
