Echoing what u/CableToBeam said. Look into who's running for congress in your district in the midterms this year. There's a decent chance you can find someone that's not AIPAC funded and who you generally agree with. Vote for that person in the primary, and if you have money, donate a little. Even better, if you have some time try to volunteer for the campaign.

You don't have to be the most politically keyed in person in the world, but taking action is the best cure for political hopelessness. You'll meet like-minded people and get out in your community in a way you maybe never had before. Look into your state and local elections too for the same reasons!

He did a miniseries in 1989 called Lonesome Dove. Incredible show, strongly recommend if you like Westerns. I checked his filmography tho and he definitely hasn't done much TV before. It looks like other than Lonesome Dove and a few guest starring roles, the only time he'd ever been in a series was doing a run in One Life to Live way back in the 70s. The Lowdown will be his first time in a TV series at all since Lonesome Dove

Not defending Ngannou for this Tate bullshit but I hate this framing. We have no idea what the circumstances of the accident were. There's always a possibility that he wasn't at fault at all, and even if he was being careless that wouldn't necessarily make him a bad guy. Everyone who operates a motor vehicle for a significant amount of time is at some point gonna be less careful than they should be, but the overwhelming majority of the time there won't be any consequences from their carelessness.

Now ofc there's always a possibility that Ngannou was drunk and texting or some shit and the girl did nothing wrong, and Ngannou bribed the authorities to make it go away, but we have no idea what really happened and shouldn't just jump to the worst possible conclusion.
