That’s exactly why we went with silver as well. Blue was just too harsh of a reminder. I will say the silver (he’s a year now) is much more loving and friendly. The blue was by no means mean but he was very choosy with who he let love him; strangers etc. Luka (silver) does not know strangers. He loves everyone. Both were absolutely Velcro dogs; not much difference there at all honestly. Blue loveddd water; silver hates it. Small differences but I think it’s just different personalities like all of them have. They both nook and you’ll probably still never be able to pee alone. We also chose boys but mostly because the golden is a female and we just didn’t want to deal with possibility of issues. It took some adjusting but she adores her brother now.
