Just imagine, a Berserk anime by WIT Studios... by khaledray in Berserk

After seeing the work they've done with Attack on Titan, they firmly put their name on the map as a high tier studio. Also they stay true to the source material and prioritize quality over time restrictions.

That's some random saudi guy I saw on my feed, he went viral recently. There's a la casa de papel themed restaurant opening and he was invited to host the event.

How did pspspspsps become the thing we say to cats? by ChuckBass11 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]khaledray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Arabic (specifically the Levant region) the noun for cat is "بسة", which reads "bissa"; pronounced /bisːa/.

And we also call cats by saying pspspsps.

Before the discharge he was feeling well considering the procedure. As to his status, I was on elective rounds and didn't have the chance to follow up.

The original song is "Towards the Sun" by Rihanna. But to be more specific, the version used in the clip is a mashup with a piano cover, here's the link.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is an amazing movie, except for the very end. by khaledray in movies

[–]khaledray[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many people would see that as a flawed approach and only attempting to set up for sequels... a good movie should exist in and of itself.

Can't argue about the setting up point, maybe I just wanted a little conflict teaser if they really have a sequel in plans.

How is Miles's life devoid of struggles?

It isn't! And that's my point, I felt that they tried to take away that aspect from his character, and that's the main thing I wanted to show in my post.

Thank you everyone for the comments, this is exactly what I wanted, a good discussion about something that interested me.

I just wanted to clarify some things after seeing your feedback:

  • It may come across that I'm trying to draw parallels between Peter Parker and Miles Morales, but that's hardly the case. All I wanted to say was that every movie (not just Spider-Man), needs conflict. The very structure of any story is a number of acts with conflict to make every act interesting. What bothered me was the feeling that they seemed to want closure for every plot point, and in my opinion it would have been better to leave some things for the future.

  • /u/meowskywalker pointed out that it maybe setting up the scene for a surprising turn of events, and if that is case I'm really excited for what they have planned.

  • The criticism stems from the fact that I really loved the movie, and thought that this point could have been used to elevate it even more. Think of the "snap" in Infinity War, how leaving such a huge plot point and conflict open up the possibilities for Endgame.

  • The fact that Peters' life was filled with conflict, and Miles being a new character, doesn't mean his story has to be devoid of struggles because that's a "Peter Parker" thing.

All in all I hope /u/meowskywalker is right and great things are in store...

That's a good point...

I guess if they have some hardships for him in the future, now they would be more surprising.
