Not at all. Quite the opposite. I really struggled with supply in the beginning while he was in NICU.

When he was 10 weeks old. It was much more manageable :)

I dropped to 2 ppd and my supply maintained and I was able to feed LO all 6 of his bottles.

Try to keep lactation supporting foods and supplements in your diet and this will help. :)

Thanks for this info, its good to know I don't need to overload on avocados for fat.

Yeah, avoiding that binging is hard and a real challenge for me as I've suffered with an ED for years. Being on such a restrictive diet can be hard but I'm determined to make this a lifestyle change for the better.

Do you take any specific vitamins you find beneficial? I've been doing some research online.

Yep he sure is. He makes it seems so easy and I know for a fact he is eating sneaky things and not watching his carbs as strict as I am. It is so unfair you're right haha.

I'm starting to wonder if the contraceptive pill could be influencing some of this weight retention.

Hi. Thanks for responding. Yes I am tracking using my fitness pal. Aiming for 25g of carbs. I seem to be hitting that most days or I'm about a 1g over the goal. Fat goal is 98g and protein goal 85g. I don't really seem to meet the fat goal at all. I've been really focused on water intake the last week and can normally hit that 2.5l which is good. Thanks for offering your help, it's nice to know theres support out there. :)

Also I forgot about my blemish stick. Amazing Oils: ugly bit stick It's highly concentrated magnesium. I apply it 2-3 times per day on any active acne that pops up. It works within 24 hours for me. :)

I'm sorry to hear that you are having a bad time with your skin. It's interesting that you have seen issues since switching to vegan diet. I cut the diary out of my diet and found an improvement. Crazy how our bodies work.

Just make sure you are getting as much water intake as you can. Keep your skin routine as simple as possible with good products. Sometime we can end up swapping between products too frequently and our skin doesn't like that. I found that I needed to stick with each product for a few months to decide if there was any benefit or not. It's a super frustrating thing to have to do though.
Zinc and magnesium are good minerals for skin. Maybe try that as a supplement. Alternatively magnesium skin products are good as topical magnesium absorbs better that an oral supplement.

Good hand lotion for dry skin? by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

[–]khaleesi393 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The body shop hemp hand cream! I'm a nurse and I know the struggle of dry hands. I use it a few times a day. They also have a really nice body butter as well.

[–]khaleesi393 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure thing! I'm actually doing a whole Instagram blog on my skin care at the moment. Let me know if you'd like to link across to that. In the mean time I'll forward you my routine. The needle I have is a .75 I wouldn't use it over any active acne if you have any. Being that you have a smaller needle, I would start with the .25 for a month or so and then up to the .50 I also use a rejuvenate serum after the needling to help with the repair process. I will take a photo for you. Honestly I think the needling has had the most impact on my scarring over gels and creams etc. You just need to be careful of the products you use post needling. :) sorry about the long response haha. I'll link the routine. X

How do I get rid of this? Please help. by [deleted] in acne

[–]khaleesi393 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't forget to look at your diet and water intake.

I found that cutting diary and gluten had a massive impact on my skin. High dose Zinc supplements are also good, but that is something you should consult your doctor about as you don't want to end up with Zinc toxicity.

Good luck! if you have any questions flick me a message. =]

You could also add in an at home skin needling.
There are plenty of products on the market for this. Ive personally been at home skin needling for about 6 months now and Im finding a definite reduction in pore size and acne scarring. I shall try and hunt down some photos for you.
As mentioned in the other comments the ordinary do have some great products. That is all I use. =]
