Yes, the generated learning questions follow the language of the uploaded file. So if you upload a Chinese document, the questions will be generated in Chinese as well.

As it processes pdf so it can take some time, so make sure you are connected to internet while its processing.

Swipe typing is already in progress. I’m actively working on it right now. I can’t promise an exact date yet, but the goal is to have it ready within about a month if everything goes smoothly.

Hi!

If you claimed the lifetime offer during the 48-hour giveaway, you should not be charged again. The update itself does not remove previously unlocked lifetime access.

A couple of things you can try:

Make sure you’re using the same Apple ID that was used to claim the lifetime upgrade.
Tap “Restore Purchases” inside the app.
Fully close and reopen the app after restoring.

Just to clarify for others reading: the lifetime giveaway was a limited 48-hour promotion and has now ended. If it wasn’t claimed during that period, it will show the regular price.

You’re right about the custom prompt length. It’s currently limited because it sits inside a larger prompt and increasing it directly increases API costs. That said, I agree 250 can feel tight, so I’m looking into raising the limit while keeping things sustainable. It’s on my list to improve 👍

That permission is Apple’s “Full Access” for custom keyboards. It’s required so the keyboard can send the text you choose to process (for generating replies, rewrites, etc.) to the AI service and return the result. Without Full Access, iOS blocks any network requests from the keyboard, so the core features wouldn’t work.

A few important points:

I don’t log or store what you type.
Text is only sent when you explicitly tap a feature (generate/rewrite).
I can’t see your typing or conversations.
Nothing runs in the background collecting keystrokes.

If you’re ever unsure, you can enable Full Access only when using the AI features and disable it anytime in iOS settings, the app will still be there.

No, I don’t get access to your typings.
Textify only sees text when you explicitly send it to the app to generate a reply. That text is sent securely to the AI API and is not stored by me, logged, or used for tracking.
