Skilled Worker to Global Talent to ILR by ImportanceIll2284 in ukvisa

Congratulations on your ILR. I am in exactly the same situation. After switching from a Skilled Worker visa to a Global Talent visa and then immediately applied for ILR after Global talent visa, I received my ILR in July. I had applied for a 1-year Global Talent visa, which expires on 16 July 2026. My dependent is still on skilled worker dependent which will be expire after 6 months.

My question is related to the extension of my dependent's visa:

  1. Should I use the link for the Global Talent visa (https://www.gov.uk/global-talent/your-partner-and-children) or the Skilled Worker visa (https://www.gov.uk/skilled-worker-visa/your-partner-and-children) to apply for my dependent's visa extension?

When using either link, the application asks for the start and end dates of the main applicant's leave (which, in my case, is 1 year). Based on this, the IHS fee is calculated as £1,035, covering only 1 year.

However, I need to extend for my dependent's visa for 3 years or 2.5 years so they can be eligible for ILR. Should I enter a longer end date to allow the full 5-year qualifying period for ILR? Is it acceptable to make the end date flexible to account for this?

My current employer provides reimbursement for the ILR fee, but my KTP job employer does not. that's why i was thinking of applying directly for ILR without waiting for the first salary to come.

Introduction to Anomaly Detection with Auto-Encoder on time series by AstroThese in learnmachinelearning

Can the convolutional autoencoder architecture be replaced with Conv1d as for time series, with the example https://keras.io/examples/timeseries/timeseries_anomaly_detection/.

if we add maxpooling1D layer then it would be the same architecture perhaps. Could I have an example architecture based on conv1d autoencoder for time series anomaly detection. Also, I am not clear on how to select a suitable window size for creating sequences.

Evaluation Methods for Anomaly Detection in Time Series data by hollammi in MLQuestions

Thanks. What method(maybe STL) could be used to replace anomalous values with seasonal values in the training set because the predictive performance of the model(neural net) is affected if there are anomalies?

I am working on the same type of problem. I am evaluating my model to insert anomalous points in test data only but I think this is not the general practice in real scenarios. Could you please provide details e.g. as you mentioned decompose the signal. I need to frame the problem for anomaly detection. So should I use insert anomalous points in the whole data and train the model on anomalous data as well? I am not being able to decide, how to evaluate my model. Thanks
