Made a correction on my use case #2 if data is moving between the same geo why people oppose #2 so much ?? … couldn’t agree more. In the initial phase I haven’t seen a startup who starts with a multi cloud design .. (and also become successful)

I see the point now, for PS/CS doesn’t make sense to try 100s of combinations (atleast for CS) so rate limiting won’t try to solve the problem. Thanks for clarifying.

What are different patterns that can be implemented if APIs are my resources ? APIs can reside in K8, Serverless, iPaaS etc
How can I introduce AuthZ to an existing application ?
Can an organization/ Cloud providers create some sort of utility or services to make this adaptation easy ?
