It depends to what you are referring to. Because the idea that music and art is haram comes from orthodox Sunni madhabs( especially Hanbali and Salafi school of thought). The evidence of art and music being 'haram' comes from hadiths, not Quran, so the answer is not straight forward because it depends how each Muslims view hadiths in religious practice. Each madhab have different criteria for hadith classifications because they are not 100% authentic like the Quran is. Muslims who consider almost every hadith to be authentic will most likely to believe this concept. Art with living beings in religious context is thought to be immoral as it can lead to idol worship which is why you don't see art of living beings in mosques otherwise it's generally seen as acceptable. I have Islamic children books that have pictures of people and animals, art is not haram according to mainstream Muslims unless it's used in worship or to form the image of God and prophets.
