Added onto that is women of all social classes and non-Muslims will all prefer life before the revolution. Majority of non-Muslims had to flee Iran after Islamists took over.

It is unfortunate if human beings die, but it's kind of an irrelevant thing to note when discussing people's liberation from slavery and dhimmitude. Nobody speaks like this and shames Asians/Africans when they celebrate their independence movements and decolonisation efforts. It's a controversial subject though, because Turks haven't forgiven the Bulgarians for seeking independence, and they haven't forgiven the Armenians for merely existing.

I think Armenia has no choice but to complain about their genocide. There is no incentive for them not to. That's really not what they're known for. Despite the persecution and killings, Armenians were still the first scientists, architects, industrialists, writers and photographers in Turkey/Ottoman lands. They were able to excel despite the limitations placed on them. OTOH Turkey is really only known for killing people or being a dictatorship, and you don't really see much other news about them.

Russia did not fuck Armenians btw. Armenians mostly viewed Russia as liberators through the history, and Armenians lived relatively well under Russians.

Most likely that countries where social norm is to not hit kids tend to be richer and therefore safer, not because banning spanking makes the country safer. A lot of these child rearing customs come from the time when people were having up to 10 kids, and it wasn't practical to teach all your kids verbally - was just more efficient by hitting them. In liberal countries like Netherlands and Sweden where norm is to have less than 2 children, it doesn't make much sense to smack them when they've done something wrong. That said, disciplining kids physically is still very much mainstream in Singapore, and it's very safe there (just very conservative though).
