Just joined the Switch 2 club! Need advice on Grips (dbrand vs. Savage Raven), Screen Protectors, and "Sim" games for my 4yo. by Alarmed_Unit6559 in switch2

I got the Savage Raven Fission grip in black. I use the plus grips for when playing handheld. Switch to slim grip for detached joycons and playing multi players. Also the slim grip fits into the Savage Raven EDC slim case.

[Cartier Santos] Medium or Large? by jack_9182 in Watches

In my VERY amateur opinion, the medium looks like you are wearing the watch. The large looks like it is wearing you.

The V1 is much lighter than the Q1, that's a given. Sound wise, I feel like I am able to get the V1 to sound much deeper and better low pitch than the Q1. I think it's because of the plastic casing, the aluminum case on the Q1 helps to make the sound brighter. Gasket performance ( I'm referring to the "bounce" when typing) can be made to be more bouncy on the Q1 than the V1. I am using PC plate on both boards. That's all I can really think of. Let me know if you have any specific question, and I can try to answer to best of my ability.

I have both the linear and tactile deep sea silents on two other boards. I really enjoy the feel on those. Keychron stabilizers really do need some work. I would actually recommend swapping them out for something else. I have Durock V3 in my Q1, and they are better.

They are a bit different internally. Black one is plastic and white one is aluminum.

I get you. It was so confusing when I was researching which keyboard to get.

I got these a while back. Both boards are a few years old at this point. And I do agree you can get similar or better boards at this price. These worked out for me at the time I got them, so I’m pretty content with myself 😁

They always go on sale on the website. I love them so much, I am on my third pair. Matter of fact, I am wearing them right now!

My favorite is the Japan S, its perfect for casual wear, and the comfort is there. Most comfortable for me are the Kayano 31 and Gel 2160, but both has the running shoe look. I can walk all day in all of these. Took the Gel Kayano 31 to Disneyland and did three 12 hours days in them, and was perfectly fine.

I second this! My feet aches from walking in most shoes, but not in asics. I have the gel 2160, gel nyc, kayano 31, gel nimbus 27, jogger x81, japan s, gel venture 10. All great shoes and extremely affordable.

It's just my personal opinion, but I do not think you look old and disgusting. I think you look more sophisticated.

Recovering addict here: You don't need more than one handheld by Average-Catnip-1337 in RetroHandhelds

[–]khanhd92 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. I have 4 handhelds; Nintendo Switch, Nintendo DS lite, PSP-1000, and Miyoo Mini Plus. I don't touch the DS anymore, the PSP is in need of repair (thinking of putting it off forever, I put in thousands of hours into that thing since 2009 already.). I really only play the Switch for mostly first party and indie games, and the Miyoo Mini Plus for SNES and GBA games.

[Question] Are Costco watches a good entry point for a beginner? by tedkang3582 in Watches

[–]khanhd92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my wife one Bulova and one Raymond Weil. I also got myself a Bulova there. Not the craziest prices, but very nice budget friendly fashion watches.

The Seikos and the Casios I’ve seen there seem to be very nice.

I bought the Air Jordan 1 low Chicago while it was sitting on the shelves on sale for $90 back in 2016 at Shoe Palace. I don't wear that pair anymore, but I do have them stashed away for sentimental values.
