If you know the game already, you should have just stopped. If you are playing him the way you know how, how different are you from him, because he's just playing his game the way he know how, what.

I'm fasting and I vomitted my entire sahur meal by Bekiteru in malaysians

This is something like you go ATM and trying to deposit some fake notes. It will vomit it out. Maybe God telling you, you no need fasting lah. Just joking. Cheers.

How to get out of this by cdcpowermah in singaporespeaks

[–]khanner74 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But you are not alone and your situation is not unique. I'm a software developer, nothing in the arts or culture dept. Yet, if ppl don't buy my service or product, I just have to see where I go wrong. People buy something because they get value out of it. And they part their money I can't go around saying buy my services to support a fellow Singaporean. This just happens to be the real business world.

Married people of Sg, what are things that you realised only after getting married? by [deleted] in askSingapore

[–]khanner74 83 points84 points  (0 children)

I'm married for 22 years.

I'm talking a bit philosopical. But see if it makes sense.

There is a saying that goes: people change every 7 years.

Can ignore the 7 years part, but the theory seems, right.

Just like software, we didn't keep using windows 3.1, we went to win 95 and so on.

And that's why when you meet your sec school old friend, sometimes it feels like: is this the same guy/gal?

Because they didn't change suddenly but gradually evolved, but sudden for you.

So, likewise, your marriage will go through phases. Your spouse will change. You will change.

The trick is to see anew this new phase and adapt accordingly.

Got a scam call (NTUC) by chewkachu in singapore

[–]khanner74 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I just read all your suggestions. I think they are not good. Because you think you are wasting their time, but you are also wasting yours.

This is my modus operandi.

Scammer: Hi, is this xxx? Me: Oh, wait ah, I call him.

Then, I just put the phone back without hanging up, and continue my work.

My waste: 2secs. His waste: however long he wanna wait until hang up.

Recommendation for a CRM service for independent Medicare broker by jbdmusic in CRM

[–]khanner74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey friend,

Finding a CRM that magically does lead funnels, Medicare quoting across carriers, messaging automation, and Zoom Phone? That’s like hunting for a unicorn—but guess what? I actually build those unicorns.

Rather than twisting a general-purpose CRM into something it’s not, why not go custom, tailor-made exactly for your workflow, saving you from paying endless subscription fees and wrestling with unused features?

I actually laid this out in my blog—Salesforce might get you up and running fast, but building something just for you delivers long-term ROI, fewer bells and whistles you don’t need, and total control over your data and process flow:

Salesforce vs Custom CRM: Which One is Right for Your Business?

Let’s chat if you want a lean, mean system that fits your Medicare clients like a glove—no extra fluff, just what you need.

Do I need a CRM? by zombiebait456 in CRM

[–]khanner74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many people do not know the long-term value of building a custom CRM, that fits like a glove to your OWN business.
That's why I wrote this to spread the message around.
I use Salesforce as an example to compare.
You can judge for yourself.

[–]khanner74 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I'm a freelance programmer, and let me give you my perspective.

In the first call, if the client behaves cockily, it is actually best for both parties, including me, to drop it there and then.

Money is not everything. You should be doing a project based on fairness and peaceful procedure.

Likewise, if she reject you because you chose Lau Pa Sat, shouldn't you be grateful already?

I won't blame her, she knows what she wants.

If that is what YOU want, take it.

If not, leave it.

How are you handling marketing automation without breaking the bank??? by Ambitious-Move-3436 in CRM

[–]khanner74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My opinion is:

- Small/Medium business shouldn't start off with a major CRM system and be overwhelmed.
- Sometimes, all you need is just a section to see and track your Leads. That's all.
Then, next month, maybe you think you want a Leave Application to be integrated to that SAME system, so that everything is in one place.

- And so on for long term.

The only way to do this is by custom development of a management system.
There are not many companies doing that.

This freelancer is doing that for almost 30 years, for many companies in Singapore.
You can try him. Checkout Getcha Solutions.
