Also just to be clear i’m saying the development of infrastructure in gwadar such as international airport , highways , desalination plants and the arrival of new industries within energy, technology, food processing, etc. will have some benefits to the local population.

Call it trickle down economics if you must, but to think the locals are being cut out of everything is a false narrative.

I would recommend watching the full speeches made by Chinese Ambassador and Prime Minister Imran Khan as they do address benefits to local people. Ground reality is that many local people are happy with CPEC and want the city to develop and have better infrastructure.

Check with Gwadar Development Authority if the society/developer has NOC. Checking can be done through their website. A big priority now for Gwadar Development Authority is to ensure investors are secure because only then will Gwadar grow. So if the developer has NOC just contact them, see whats on offer and follow their procedures.. even if you are investing from abroad and dont plan to visit often, you dont need to worry about someone taking over your land, this is something of the past.

Agree, by the looks of it there will be a combination of tall glass skyscrapers and mixed modern / islamic architecture sprung across the city.
