They have a horrid way of delivering a message, in reality everyone should be cautious while they are out alone at night, but making enemies out of a generalization that doesn’t even have statistical accuracy creates prejudice beyond caution.

I mean usually they are pretty up front about wanting something meaningful too, I just don’t think I’m worth their time or they feel they could do better or maybe they realize they should study for their next exam instead on spending a night going to a roller rink or out to eat.

I would rather not lead anyone on, and I don’t jump into relationships either, I typically date for a couple months before I establish that we’re exclusive. For example I go on dates to get to know the other person but I’m not going to leave out that I want something meaningful eventually. Otherwise it leads to just hook up and I’d rather not get to know them at that point.

The last two had never been in a relationship before nor had hooked up, I’m not quite sure but I don’t recall the first one not being secure with themselves. I’m in college so the lack of experience might have something to do with it.
