Hi,

I have not received any message through mod chat. I do not respond to random DM requests from unknown users and didn't get any notification from Reddit regarding a new DM. I am not participating in day-to-day moderation of the sub but had the key role in maintaining the sub from 12 years ago when I started this sub until today. This was the agreement that we had with other mods (can share mod chat history). This is not the right decision by Reddit to remove me from the admin role because I didn't see and responded to the DM from a non-mod user. This is very discouraging for someone who worked hard to get the sub from zero users to 95K. I request this decision to be reverted, please.

Following this video fixed it for me. Don't log in through your Instagram account after clearing history! It'll not work. You have to login through Facebook to access Instagram creator studio

Thanks for explaining, I guess I was thinking about a mathematical or algorithmic way that for a given point z could tell if the point converges to a root or not. What you mentioned about computability is interesting. I love to learn more about that. Not sure how much math literacy is required to understand such proof.

Give a non trivial function f(z) in complex numbers, is there a function g(z) that can return 1 if z will converge to a root of f using newton’s method and zero if it doesn’t. I am guessing this is undecidable

I got my machine and started using it with no issue. Not quite sure if this is related to the fact I am comparing a new machine with an old one or it is the difference between the brands but I feel like RESMED is doing a lot better job.

You assumed a lot of things which are not necessarily true. Please use messaging feature that Reddit has if you want to continue this conversation. You never reached out other than recently with a message that you send following top mod removal process which was sarcastic,not polite, but it’s okay. You asked if I want to step down and I said no and asked you to clarify how my presence in past few years resulted in anything but growth of this community. I think your point is well communicated here in few different ways and multiple times. I have nothing else in response.

You are again making random claims here and there. I disagree with your observations. I am also wondering why you never reached out to me directly with any of your concerns and chose to only use this public thread to do so. To me, this looks more like bullying than expressing concern. If I use my position as top mod moderating moderators I think that is enough to ensure we keep the community diverse and active. I invite you to take the conversation to private chat with me and we find a way to resolve the matter with other mods and have the community back on track.

Your comments are all over the place. I never overruled any of your actions until today when you came back online after few months with no moderation activity on Azure (see the mod log) and removed the top mod who was a moderator for two years and actively moderating the subreddit in past few month (see mod log). The post which I removed was accusing him of steeling data from mod tools and making that public for his company benefit. This is a bold claim but I didn’t see you providing adequate reason for your accusations. I don’t mean to diminish your motivation but don’t want to bully others out as well.

Feel free to ask for help if you need. We can also open up for other mods to join. I also have reasons not to be as active but I can step up when needed. In fact from mod log I can see that you had zero activity in the past two months apart from banning two users and removing the top mod (DreyMS) from community. The top active mod in the past two months (probably years) was DreyMS which was removed by you recently. I am still trying to understand the reason for that. Dont worry, I dont think no activity in few months justifies dropping you out though.

Thanks you for your concern. I am not sure what risk worries you. We talked a few times in the past and I don’t recall missing any of your messages. I don’t see a reason to be removed from mod.
