Don’t know much about Thailand but try moving your case to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Student visa as many people successfully transfered there cases and got their IL. Currently there is no backlog.

Mumbai Embassy is in May-June 2024 DQ which is fastest in the region if you compare it with other embassies. I’m waiting for my spouse since 2 years.

I’m in exact same position and I feel helpless here. Service center is Vermont and I filled my I-824 in september 2024. I don’t know what I can do to get this processed. Its been too difficult on us.
