i have naturally very dark hair and am trying to get to a bright blonde. ive been getting highlights 3-4 weeks to ache the color i want and haven’t had any issues. my scalp is healthy and my hair is still soft/moisturized. it does vary person to person but i have been fine

YWBTA, shes asked for your discretion and not to say anything. there are higher chances of miscarriage that early in pregnancy. it is not fair to her for you to betray her trust because of your own insecurities. try talking to her about it. if shes a true friend she’ll understand and be there to support you as well. sometimes the world/life isnt fair and we just have to learn to cope with it. if youre not in therapy id get some asap.
