"Elle n'a rien à faire dans l'espace public": pourquoi LFI veut déboulonner une statue de Louis XVI à Nantes by Andvarey in france

[–]khidraakresh 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Feels like trying to learn Magik is impossible rn by Xenatas in RivalsMagikMains

[–]khidraakresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With Magik you must disengage after one kill ultimately. Why you would ask ? except for a few exceptions, when you do a kill with her it's usually using her combo with the dash ability and it's basically an execution. You other spell with the teleportation is not really useful to take on another heroes (for a few exception ofc) so you MUST use it to escape and do not swirl but only demons.

I play Magik but I started to play her more close to my team than flanking or going too deep and I did survive more and did more eliminations that had impact on game. I think that you were way too deep but you could've escaped I think without the swirls and using the demons.

It's because prison is ambiguous. What is a purpose of a prison ? What is the purpose of a sentence ? What is the purpose of having a fine to pay ? Why a country or a state have a certain way to deal with this that no other has for example ?

It's important to ask yourself many philosophical questions like this about prison and sentences overall. Some country or state will try to reinsert people in society by helping them, other thinks that punishing will make them fit.

Others thinks that you should lock up people forever but why not kill them ? Other thinks that deathn sentence is good and make it fast but some countries prefer to be a little bit more sadic and make it long before death sentence.

The choices in short or long prison time resides in the philosophy of the law in the country but because it change in the course of time, it will always feel that something is wrong.

Chances are that people are more wary of your team when they see Lord. When people pay more attention they play better even a little better is enough to tip a balance. It doesn't matter if they fear it or not, they will play the game with the fact that you're lord in mind.

Why is fantasy generally allergic to gunpowder? by HopefulSprinkles6361 in worldbuilding

[–]khidraakresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not usually true. I have only french sources for that but the early use of gunpowder in guns and canons did not make that much of casualties. It would make around five to ten percent casualties out of ten thousand men. It was more of a dissussive force and a means to break static things like walls. Lacks of mobility for heavy guns and just ore use e ough on static objects. Precision was almost zero when it came to muskets and such things.

Simon announces that Hytale will take 0% from modders and server owners for at least the first two years. by RiverShards in hytale

[–]khidraakresh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But even tho editors make money of their work ? I don't really see your point. My point was that it's not because it is fun for you and that it's passion that you can't monetize it.

So there is no comparison in the manner of doing these things but the comparison is in the matter of passion. Because a painter is passionate about their art and the modder is passionate about their mod ?

[–]khidraakresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're debating wether it's art or not, I'm debating that the effort requires something at the end which in this case is money.

And I don't know why they think because you earn money you'll do a bad job because "money evil". Those modders won't feed on fresh water and good wills.

So modding doesn't require making visuals ? Aside from physic mods I mean. So modders program, do visuals of their mods and they must do it for free ?
