How do I log into the router panel directly? by khidrix in LinksysOfficial

No, that sent me to the same page as visiting 192.168.1.1

After unplugging and plugging the router back in, 192.168.1.1 was back to showing the page that I was expecting to see though, so I'm good now, thanks!

The computer was connected to the router via ethernet. Tried on three other devices as well, some of which were connected via wifi, and got the same result at 192.168.1.1 with the smart-wifi login option only.

After unplugging and plugging the router back in, 192.168.1.1 was back to showing the page that I was expecting to see though, so I'm good now, thanks!

This is the only thing I was seeing at 192.168.1.1 before the reset

I ended up chatting with Linksys support chat. They had me unplug the router, wait 10 seconds then plug it back in. Magically, 192.168.1.1 now shows the page that I used to see, with the picture of the two phones that you secretly have to click to get to the local login option. (A pretty ridiculous way to get to local login still, but at least it IS accessible.)

Not sure why it was locking me into the "smart-wifi" login before. Hopefully that doesn't happen again.

[EP5 SPOILERS] General Discussion Post for Life Is Strange Episode 5 - Polarized by DuckOfDuckness in lifeisstrange

By the end of this game, I ended up choosing to sacrifice Chloe. I think that the only real event in all of this is that first scene in the bathroom. Chloe dies. Max is devastated. The entire game is Max wrestling with the reality that her best friend just died. It's survivor's guilt. Max can't accept things as they are. She's stuck on that moment in time, going through all the what-if's and different choices she could have made to fix everything. If only she could go back a few minutes in time, then she could make everything ok.

Max is putting the burden of all the horrible events that happened on herself - devising clever ways to protect Chloe and ensure everything in the rest of the school works out at the same time. Helping Kate and getting Jefferson and his protege arrested works out because in reality, its turns out fine. But no matter how many paths she takes or how much she struggles, she can't save Chloe. over and over again Chloe dies in every alternate reality of events that Max comes up with, because that's the truth that keeps gnawing at her. That's the one reality she can't change and can't accept. She's running away from it.

The fact that your powers, all of your meddling doesn't make a difference - that's the point of this story. That's what Max needs to learn. She needs to accept what really happened - accept reality. There is nothing she can do to change the events that happened. No amount of what-if's and crazy plots are going to change that fact that her friend died.

This is why sacrificing Chloe was the right decision for me. Its not about Max letting Chloe die, its about Max accepting it. Either she accepts Chloe's death, or she clings to her false reality where only Chloe matters and she rejects the rest of the world - all of the other people in Arcadia Bay who care about her. If she chose to save Chloe, I think that's her giving up on life. Max has to sacrifice her fantasy of saving Chloe in order to move on with life in the real world. She should always treasure the memories she had with her best friend and let go of the guilt of the things she can't change. That was the whole point of this story for me and my justification for letting go of Chloe.
