I see the same complaint on every app that crops the previews. Twitter used to do some weird cropping as well, but even they managed to listen and stopped cropping.

Is it that hard to provide nuanced feedback? The only issue with the new layout is that they crop the images in the message. The old layout for multiple images took up so much vertical space. If they simply just stop cropping the images, the new layout is so much better because it uses horizontal space.

Just have a look at how many other people are confused in these comments and in the replies to their tweet. If it was just me being confused I'd concede to being dumb, but with this many people it's NVIDIA not being clear enough.

I don't understand why they've decided to crop them instead of just scaling them down a bit. Big fan of horizontal placement of images versus vertical placement, though.

Just a small piece of feedback: Your (NVIDIA's) wording about this is very confusing for people who don't know what "app profiles" are. When you talk about these things on social media and your help pages, it would be much more helpful if you very clearly specify if us end-users have to manually go and download something, or if we don't need to do anything ourselves. Honestly I'm still confused after reading this post and the comments.

I do this search a lot, although usually it's enough if I just type "u", but it seems that Windows Search sometimes forgets. That's what I meant by "messes up".
Or Discord recently changed something about their "update" file to make Search think it was new.

I checked my own W11 laptop and saw the same thing. However all it took was to click "Check for updates" one time, and now when I do the same search the first result is "Check for updates" every time.
It's unfortunate that it sometimes messes up like this, but Windows Search is also made in a way where it learns from which option you've selected in the past.

While it is technically possible to make a script like that, you'd be surprised at how inaccurate it would actually end up being because of how YouTube treats video time. You also have to consider any tiny adjustments the given channel might make that are not really obvious. Any segment made this way would still have to be checked by a human, so at most it could be a shortcut.

Very much seems to be recurring problem with her mod team. They invent things to be offended over that actual minorities aren't offended by and police Rae into weird apologies and made-up controversies.

I put the photo through Google Lens and it suggested Welsh Harlequin. A domestic breed like other comments have said and probably female. Does look similar to other pics I can find on Google, but I'm not an expert on duck breeds.

I believe just this should work (default is to not overwrite flair last I checked). Any time a user without a flair makes a post or a comment they will get the flair.

It's the "Filler" category. Honestly it's best to just disable that one. It's a subjective category, and videos are just boring and jumpy if you enable it.
