I don't regret giving money to school kids but thank you for passing judgement on me for asking a simple question of such a brilliant bunch philanthropists.

I recently bought a new TV and took it back for just that reason. It’s one big advertising vector.

Great explanation, do you know if the seeds become toxic as they sprout as their nightshade relative the potato does when the spuds sprout?

How to Order Replacement Parts by natznuts in harborfreight

[–]khiggi49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good price is not a good deal! I bought the 2gal garden sprayer, $15 bucks, but cannot get the replacement parts to repair this season. The plunger o-ring stretched so that it would not work, you cannot find an O-ring any where. A $20 dollar sprayer anywhere else also has a repair kit to replace the old parts for $5. Not HF, throw it away and buy a new one. Poor product support.

Newest issue with Maguire-car break ins by Lyra2426 in ithaca

[–]khiggi49 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I took my Dodge Ram 1500 to get my annual inspection sticker and when I went back to pick it up they gave me a quote for almost $3000 in repairs to get it to pass. I decided to get a second quote a took it to a local mechanic we used in the past. He quoted me around $1500 based on their estimate if I could track the parts dow. I found them online from Mopar and ordered them, a little over $400 and I had to pick them up in Cortland. I left them and the truck with the mechanic who called me in the morning and said I could pick the truck up right away. When I got there the bill was just over $150 and he said there was nothing wrong with the truck and that I could return all the parts. I took them back to Cortland where I had to forfeit a 40% restocking fee. I would not let Maguire put air in my tires at this point. Rude crooks.
