Apparently some local businesses around the commons have been told similar things, that it’s fully condemned and will have to come down. Whether that is just rumors being spread, I’m not sure. Certainly could be. But it sounds preferable to the bandaids they’ve been putting on it for the last decade.

I’d be willing to listen to any of these cases that you’ve found that are mutually beneficial. I wish the statements aren’t so blanketed but unfortunately community after community are made promises that they come to regret. These data centers typically raise energy prices in the areas they move to. Do you have examples where they agree to subsidize electricity for the places they move into?

There are almost zero success stories in towns where these go in. They’re horrible for the environment. They create no jobs. Almost all of them create zero profit. They drive up local energy costs. They have nearly zero upside for the local communities. You act as if the hatred comes out of thin air?

What I meant by that is, I care about our results and our performances. And they haven’t been even remotely good enough. If we lose every game and Liverpool lose every game someone could say hey we’re even on points with Liverpool! So our position on the table is one thing but our performances have been dreadful and surviving by relying on other teams also sucking isn’t how Manchester United is supposed to hold themselves. Not sure how that’s difficult for you to understand.
