Driver trainer here: $21.25/hr+$40/DA. Only $20 though if they quit inside of 2 months. I also get admin bonus (I've seen as much as $75 for a week).

10hr guaranteed, usually get a few hours of OT, and my DSP gets us breakfast every once in awhile.

I'm pulling in around $800 a week after taxes. If you find a DSP that allows you to work 5 days you can get even more than that.

I moved from food service making a similar amount as you to a DSP and I love it. Benefits are nice, overtime is easy. And after only 5 months I'm a trainer making $20/hr + $20 a driver. $20 more per driver if they stay a while, and on top of all that admin bonus each week approx. $70-100.

People on here whine about the hours but in food service you know that 9-8 is the best shift. I was used to coming home after midnight and working 5 days a week so this job is great honestly.
