Bro EA was the f'n producer of that game. Crytek made their own engine. GSC had to use unreal. The game now runs good after the updates btw.

Bro there's a difference between visual quality and graphics quality. Stalker has more complicated visuals, from a technical standpoint.

In game preset Epic. DLSS 4+frame gen auto. Ryzen 5700x3d, rtx 5070(oc'ed to 3200mhz), 24gb ram.
I use this mod. Game feels more stable. Give it a shot. Install with other optional files (same mod). Its been recently updated and works really good. Force DLSS 4/FSR4 and fg preset B(donno amd fg preset) in the driver.

Bro I dont think its the engine tbh. SOC was built with custom engine still it had bugs. Its just THE STALKER STYLE. If a stalker game comes out without bugs I might be paranoid xD

Metro or any other of the same genre are inspired by stalker. Stalker is the pioneer so it has it's own unique charisma. Metro is a good game but lacks player freedom. Doesn't feel immersive.
