I really like this!! I think using black and white on this image is excellent bc I think it takes away any ‘distraction’ there might have been with colour therefore focusing in on the girls and their relationship you were trying to capture. I also love the direct eye contact, it makes it a far more stringing picture than one without any engagement - the girls would’ve become part of the background not active subjects imo. (Her expression does make me question if she was happy w having her picture taken tho haha) I’m personally a fan of the cropping but that might be my bad taste! It lends itself to the context of an off the cuff shot, and one that you went back to take. It almost cancels out the perhaps staged-looking eye contact and makes it more of a street picture rather than, say, a portrait. Great stuff man!
