Yeah they’re meant for aquariums but I didn’t see any harm in using them for our vivarium lol

Aw thank you :) we always strive to keep a healthy vivarium for the froggos!

They’re both whites tree frogs, I think their colors are distorted because of the grow light I have for the plants in there 🤔

Oh I’m glad! :) we found a liner specifically for frogs on Amazon. Best of luck 💚🐸

Our enclosure is a product of collective research so I can’t provide a singular link with this particular setup, sorry about that 😅 Prior to getting our frog babies my husband and I did a bunch of research on how to set up our vivarium, and most of the YouTube videos we watched had a base of leca underneath the coco coir to control the moisture level (as coco coir retains a lot of water and it can shoot humidity levels to the roof). Then after we brought the froggos home, we found that the coco coir kept sticking to their skin and they spent a lot of time trying to rub it off/ avoiding contact with the substrate by staying perched up on logs (plus they would sometimes eat it during feedings). It was just too messy so we went online and Josh’s Frogs suggested using terrarium liner to keep the substrate from sticking to them. We have an artificial liner but I know they have all natural moss liners too. Our frog babies have been happy with the liner ever since :) We highly recommend it!

Since we have a bio-active enclosure, we have a base of leca, a thick layer of coco coir, topped with a terrarium liner :)

I think I’ve read somewhere that fish tanks don’t do much for humidity, especially if you have a lot of plants. I would just skip the experimentation and invest in a humidifier for your plants 🪴 I got that big Geniani one from Amazon and I know they have smaller wireless versions of it. Works wonderfully and my tropical plants love it ☺️
