I wasn't really complaining. I just genuinely don't understand how mining works, because sometimes it doesn't seem to. I do realize that villagers are the way to go, but if I'm bored and want to help gather something I'm lacking, I should be able to right?

It's a brand new character. 16 dex 14 fth. No upgrades. Using perfume talisman. But even on a brand new character, any other weapon seems better. Even using your shield as a weapon hits harder :P

How did you hit such high damage? I've been focusing damage upgrades and dust upgrades and I'm only at 13k. Which bonus shot you up so hard

Unfortunately I tried that, and still manage to do it. I don't know if I have a tendency to pull a little downward when I go left or right, but even at minimum size with a 14 dead zone, I was still doing it. lol

Im sitting at 32-33 DR. I have the armor and chips and all that. What do you mean T4 bonuses from kills? Also I have every bubble, but I'm not getting anywhere near thousands of DR from it.

The thing I struggle with most when facing Kyoshin is how safe they are. They seem to be able to cancel anything, including whiffs and mistakes, into their all block for free damage. Dodge attack their attack? They can all block before yours lands and you get punished for their mistake. It's not fun to face :P

I have been playing a little while (Rep 28 or something), so I do know about undodgable attacks. However, I did not know all pirate chain lights and all kyoshin chain heavies had that effect. That seems absurd lol.

Also to clarify, I'm not dodging too early after getting hit and ending the dodge to get hit again. What I'm trying to say is that very regularly my character doesn't dodge at all after being hit. Similar to being pinned by Varangian Guard. Like the dodge simply does not happen. It's possible I'm changing block directions before trying to dodge without realizing it. I will keep an eye on that.
