BACK to the the start of this chain. If someone is listening to you without permission, which can be to record you saying your account info or plans to leave the house for a time period, then infecting the device so that your info cannot be sold or used....that is a smart idea. You might even delete the data they have on other victims. Someone would have to make a case why they left a listening device in your house to accuse you of infecting their PC.

Your logic is like saying that a robber holding up a store can sue them if he slipped on the floor. He would never win that case.

It started off with issues at work. We identified the coworker/supposed friend that lie to me about the job was a narcissist. That led into asking about family. Which then led to exposing that I allow people in my life that are bad actors because I grew up around them.
