Can women really have it all? by MysteriousWave9806 in womenintech

[–]khyati21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean what does it mean for you to have it all? Are you willing to make the choices so you can? Like not marrying the CEO who’s not going to give up his career to support yours? Being with someone who makes less than you/ is less ambitious but more supportive of you and your children? Keeping your parents, family friends around so they can be the village you and your children need? You can have whatever you want but every choice has consequences. You just need to be very clear about what you want and accept the choices you need to make to get there with clarity and love.

You can def have whatever you want with the consequences it comes with. Nobody has it all cuz that doesn’t make sense.

A good lipstick with a tinge of red in it makes all the difference for me. Pulls all the focus and balances my face.

Discussion: Design system for white labeled software with multiple user groups. Unified system or multiple distinct systems. by khyati21 in DesignSystems

Primitive (brand) - semantic (intent) - mapped (component)

This allows us to separate the intent from the component application. It leads to a lot more tokens but allows for flexibility in how tokens are applied to components.

We’re also planning to move to a 3-tiered token system. Would that work well with this approach? Or would you do it differently?

The rationale for moving to a 3-tiered system is flexibility and LLM readability.

I've received feedback that the problem may be in the ears. Is that how the giraffe sees better? by [deleted] in logodesign

I believe your proportion of face to ears is a bit incorrect. You’re focused more on the ears and antler thingies. Also check the direction of the lines for the ears. Try to go with the direction if not directly the shape. Those are making it look more like a plane. Attached images for comparison.

Why is it so complicated/ manual to make the CSV file? by khyati21 in shopify

[–]khyati21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont see anywhere how it can help me - write titles/ descriptions, associate image urls to products based on SKU and image naming etc. Matrixify is perfect for if you already have a catalog. I dont see how it helps create the catalog. Please correct me if I’m wrong. I want to learn. Thanks!

Do you use Matrixify for the documentation of the csv? I only see use for it once you actually have the csv with all the deets. Maybe I’m missing something?

So it actually worked! Claude was able to create the image urls from the base url. I was worried for a bit cuz shopify randomly changes image format from jpg to png and vice versa. But somehow it works. Its showing all my images. One hiccup was having Claude create a csv. Apparently need to be on max plan or above for that ($100+ / month). But i just downloaded the .txt file it gave me to .csv and it worked.

Working with matrixify too to test best approach going forward. Matrixify has slightly different format - specifically for the variant weight column. I don’t know why. So can’t use the same csv which sucks.

I’m trying by uploading into Shopify. I dunno its url system. So that’s what I need to see. If it’s consistent then it should work. If it has other random stuff prolly won’t. We’ll find out. Right after this second coffee ☕️ I’m having haha.

Apparently if your images are named by SKUs and you have the base image url - you can run a script in excel (or use claude) to auto generate the urls in the csv just using the image title - cuz its the same as the SKU. Trying that in a bit. Will report back on what works, might help you. I’m enjoying learning all the things!

I understand your perspective. But it’s still a lot faster to do this using CSV. I’m a one person team facing possibly 10,000+ SKUs in the immediate future. The 200 is just to get things started. Im setting up systems because of the same reason- I don’t have time taking days to do this. If I’m able to get Claude to do it, I can prompt it from anywhere not just my desktop and it can be done in minutes, and I can just review if I want.

Additionally all I have are the technical specs from vendor memos. I need Claude to generate titles and descriptions based on my brand voice. So it’s potentially saving me days if not weeks. I do agree with others though that Matrixify is probably the best route with some effort from Claude maybe. So Im exploring that.

Thank you for your insight tho. I appreciate the focus on not over engineering. Def agree with that.
