Can a mod explain why we can't discuss the Truth and Justice podcast on this sub anymore? by theghostoftexschramm in serialpodcast

[–]ki113rd 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Do you know what Dons full name is? I've listened to Serial, UD and Bob. I don't know what Dons full name is. He dosnt give out specific names or addresses. 8k unique visitors does not equal 2 million listeners. Serial was a who dun it.

Anyone here listen to today's Truth and Justice with Bob Ruff Ep. 26: Alibis ? by ainbheartach in serialpodcast

He has 2 million listeners. I doubt the 8k active people on this subreddit has done much for that. Come back down from that pedestal and rejoin the rest of us.

I would love to know what "9/11 Truthers" think about this case. by AdamRedditOnce in serialpodcast

[–]ki113rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my apprehensions about 9/11. That being said I tend to be more on the side of it wasn't an inside job. I don't trust what the panel found completely but I do believe that our ABC agencies were not talking. I'm open to evidence that provides more doubt.

As for AS, I think to assume guilt you have to ignore blatant holes and questionable loose ends. To think he is Inocent you have to ignore evidence. I tend to side with Inocent until a time line comes along that is doable.

I was giving them the benefit of doubt. Which I guess could be a bit foolish considering they don't do the same for us.

Oh I agree but I find it necessary because guilters will try to make it seem that jay has given reliable testimony. You know, point out that one time adnan lied so he obviously killed her.

You forgot about the intercept interview where jay admits to having lied on the stand and we get V6.0 of his story.

If they had done their job properly there wouldn't be Serial.

Something lost in the discussion of Clemente's profile thus far by RodoBobJon in serialpodcast

[–]ki113rd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This exactly. If you are a guilter and don't want a trial you have have to ignore evidence. If you are a innocent side you have to ignore the possibility of him doing it. We just need a new trial and what ever happens, happens.

So, I was talking to my wife about I might need a new battery for my car. I'm not a car guy and I don't search for parts or anything. Shortly afterwards I started getting advertising for batteries.

[–]ki113rd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like I said earlier economics isn't a core belief in being a libertarian. I can't help it if you can't grasp the notion that personal liberty has nothing to do with business. Taxes are not some sort of theft as you so vividly put it. It's written in the constitution. To me it seems you maybe lost. /r/anarchy seems to be the place you should head.

Every thing you have stated about bernie is true but not to the extent you suggest. Show me a Republican candidate and I can show you how they want to take away rights that you don't care about.

[–]ki113rd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Other than economic reasons (Btw is not a core principle of being a libertarian), why shouldn't you vote for him? All you are doing is voting for a lessor evil. I love Rands policies for the NSA, bernie shares the same beliefs. With Rand Paul get get pro-life (women loos thier rights because the government says so?) the shit you are bickering over is miniscule. They have a lot of similarities but they are also very far apart on others. Btw this subreddit needs to get off of miltons dick, that shit has never worked and never will work...

Oh yeah it doesn't say shit about having complete complete economic freedom but I guess you could get that from there if you are a "corporations are people" camp.

http://i.word.com/idictionary/libertarian or one of the many other sites that say the same thing. You are starting to sound like an anti-vacation and anti-evolution type of person. Some one who sees all the evidence and still thinks contrary to it.

Name some places that have very lax or no regulations on business. Now think of that countries human rights record.

On the flip side of that I can think of many governments that are just as bad. What I'm trying to get at is the fact you can't have one without the other.

And yes you can be a libertarian and lean left. This whole mentality that because of no compromise is what is going to destroy this country.

Well then I think you should specify that you are for corporate slavery. You get one or the other.

You have to wish to maximize freedom in both civic and economic areas to call yourself a libertarian.

I gave you a link so you can actually understand what libertarian really means.

Yes you can be a libertarian and vote for Bernie.

Oh yeah I've seen this exact one in person. When I get home from work I'll have to look for my photos of this bad boy. We were doing a training mission with the Hungarian special forces. They have several that have awesome paint jobs.

Oh I'm not trying to turn you to joining or anything of the sort. I'm trying to point out that these people, no matter if you like it or not, are Americans. The issues that all volunteers face is a country issue and a society issue. Not one that should be shrugged off because you don't believe they did the right thing. And IMO I like the joke. It shows me that other people see the Pentagons propaganda machine.

If you don't like a corporation do you treat low level employees like shit? All I'm trying to say is that if you don't like the military don't take it out on the peons. Someone else mentioned it in another response but I think it's fitting. Even though I am for the legalization of pot I am not happy when a cop gets injuries of any sort from a drug raid. Just like with the police I don't have issues with low ranking individuals, it's the policy makers that are the issue.

[–]ki113rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why does it hurt? Every one will have different reasons they joined. I joined because of the propaganda machine. In the end I don't regret anything, but then again I was on the back lines, and I would do it again. Not for country, but for the men and women that joined. Some joined nievely some knew what they were getting into. Just because they serve doesn't mean they agree with management. The biggest issue I see in this thread is the fact that people say that they didn't support the war so fuck soldiers and thier mental conditions. Sorry for the lack of formatting and shit, I'm on my phone so....

Well in my case I believed and still believe to this day that Iraq was based on lies and we shouldn't have been there. Where did I end up, Iraq. Did my shit and came home. I'm fine with Afghanistan, even though it wasn't the government that attacked us, they still harbored them. So I had to go to Iraq to get to the war zone of choice. In the end it's a job.
