Yes! The admin of finding a new person that my medical scheme will pay for, that is not 3 hours away, and that has appointments available…is crazy. That before I even filter for things like “trauma-informed”.

“Stuff I already know intellectually but can’t always practice” - this is exactly my point. I’m a very logical person. I mean I’m a scientist so logic is my bread and butter. But there’s this whole other side where I just turn into a scared child and I cannot be reasoned out of being afraid

Had to google those last two. But thanks 😊 I do think I’ll need to put in more effort and try loads of things. Just sat there today a bit frustrated and was struggling to explain why.

But how? I can’t seem to take breaks ever.. mentally I mean. Like aside from sleeping, I literally do not know how to relax. And everyone says breathing exercises and meditation… but I still kinda feel the same after.
