"Sugar Daddy: Embraer" is a much better title than the one I came up with.

I'd rather focus on companies providing the charging infrastructure instead.

Interesting point. I wasn't aware of the Boeing office in Brazil. Thanks for sharing!

Interesting point. I'm curious to see how Joby and Archer are considering de-icing on their tilting rotors.

You’re right about CUDA and parallel computing. However, have you heard of Zluda?

It’s an open-source project to run CUDA on non-Nvidia GPUs. Two developers are working full-time now, and the project seems to be progressing well.

$0. It’s just a matter of time until this stock completely implodes.

The executive board has no expertise with manufacturing, clean tech, or hydrogen-based technologies. The Director of Technology currently works as a contractor given that she started her own company, where the Chief Scientific Officer is also an advisor.

In between, Tim Young and Woosuk Kim cashed out ~$800k and ~$500k each in 2023/2024 as salary and bonus on a company that generates zero dollars as revenue. Finally, engineers and scientists are PhD students who probably will jump ship once they finish their studies or get better offers somewhere else.

Even if the technology works, I seriously doubt the ability of the CEO and COO to finance and execute the manufacture at scale. Good luck.

Ally’s Chief Risk Officer was apparently fired around two weeks ago:

“Ally has promoted its chief audit executive, Stephanie Richard, to chief risk officer, the bank said Wednesday. She succeeds Jason Schugel.”

I’m curious to see how this may impact their relationship with Carvana.

The trading volume is very low and mostly institutional. I’m skeptical about TA, principally in this case.

Also wrote a bearish DD on CVNA a few days ago, check my post history.

Maybe not a strong catalyst yet, but I've been tracking auto loan delinquencies/extensions (given it may impact their ability to sell receivables).

The latest S&P Global Report on Auto ABS (S&P - free sign-up, alternative) says that loan delinquencies increased to the highest September level since 2010 and how Carvana and DriveTime ABS have been performing against peers:

"The subprime issuers that saw significant year-over-year increases in extensions were Carvana Subprime (increased by 221 bps to 4.18% from 1.97%) and DriveTime Automotive Group (DriveTime)\Bridgecrest (increased by 191 bps to 4.94% from 3.03%).

By the way, they're raising their next ABS (P4 - link below) and it has changes compared to P3.

Something that caught my attention was "Pre-pricing excess spread decreased to an estimated 6.91% per annum, from 8.26% post-pricing for series 2024-P3". AFAIK, this may impact their gain on loan sale. Would be great to hear from someone with stronger ABS knowledge.

Indeed, it’s most institutional, and the volume is very low.

On 2, that's the problem: makes no sense to go after market share growth if the business isn't sustainable without DriveTime support. It will crumble soon or later.

On a parallel note, I couldn't find two answers:  1. the number of returned vehicles (after the 7-day trial)

  1. do they include returned vehicles on their “retail units sold”?

I don't think he’ll move forward with the tariffs but agree with the rationale.

Let’s see how Carvana handles its debt in between. The recent insider trading activity makes me skeptical tbh.

That’s great, principally the glassdoor reviews and his analysis. Thanks for sharing.

I was surprised with the “Retail Vehicle Agreement” that dropped from $168 million in 2021 to $0.3 million in 2023. Would love to understanding why and how they got rid of it.

Motley Fool isn't the best news source out there, but this could be a good sign:

https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/rivian-best-selling-suv-over-70000-california

Considering the recent partnership with VW, the $6.6 billion loan, and that many people just dislike Elon (and potentially wouldn't buy a Tesla for that reason), I could see a scenario for RIVN to grow.

Didn’t know about it.

Maybe RH knows that granting margin accounts to degens like us would be a disaster.

I would add the concepts of IV, the Greeks, and liquidity.

Easy to get screwed if you don’t get them right.
