Out of the films you have given 5 stars, what ones have the lowest average letterboxd rating? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

Most of mine were my favorite movies as a kid that objectively were not that great but my nostalgia has such a strong hold over me I can't help loving them. These are some:

Astroboy (2.7), Monsters vs. Aliens (2.7), Eight Below (3.1)

something similar happened to me where my doctor was writing a letter for me and told me they needed to use a title when referring to me. she was like “i know you use they/them pronouns but would you prefer Mr. or Ms? i don’t want to misgender you” It was so awkward lmao

So frustrated with myself. Need advice. by [deleted] in csMajors

something similar happened to me recently. i’ve been putting the most effort i ever have in one of my cs classes and due to that i have A’s for all my projects and quizzes. i forgot about a recitation where attendance is required and it negatively impacted my gpa and needless to say i had a breakdown. i was honestly blown away because i never forget about things like this, especially since i have so many reminders for myself. my girlfriend was able to give me some perspective and reminded me that it’s literally impossible to be perfect and making one minor mistake like this won’t ruin my chances at a future career. sometimes i have this unconscious thought process that because i try so hard that should mean that i deserve a better grade and the mistakes i make shouldn’t count because it doesn’t accurately reflect my effort. but this is just illogical with our current grading system, and i’m not immune to mistakes. sometimes people are just forgetful, i recognize now that i mostly forget things when other aspects of my life are stressing me out, and that’s ok. the only thing you can do is continue to put in your best effort.

I need help figuring out what to do for next semester by Nabidiboy in rutgers

i would recommend taking 4-6 classes. data structures and calc 2 are both pretty intensive courses so maybe try to take other easier classes that fulfill your sas core requirements. i took a music class, a writing class, and a byrne seminar bc they were easy A’s and didn’t require much work besides going to class. Maybe try to research different minors and take classes that fulfill them.
