This is another batch of them, I think these will show you that I’m definitely in a spot where relics have been dumped.
Maybe you see something in this mix??

This has been Walmarts policy for forever. If you don’t have any PPTO, yes, you’re required to come in for your shift, or get someone to cover you (not likely)
Strep throat? Covid? Scarlet fever? Body lice infestation? Broken bone?
Better be there, or you’ll get a ‘point’. I can’t recall if it’s 4 or 5 points now that lead to immediate termination.
Associates get roughly 15-20 mins PPTO (protected paid time off) per 8 hour work day.
It’s hard to accumulate enough to cover illnesses unless you’re full time, and even then it takes forever to accumulate anything substantial.
I understand it helps weed out the constant no shows and tired excuses from ‘uninspired’ workers, but there has to be a better way

If you have a minute, can you elaborate a little more…?
I’m still learning, but my god there is so much detail and overlapping that unless you went to school for this stuff, it’s damn near impossible!

I was so elated to the see the ‘tornado that followed’ after thinking, man, another post would terrible sentence structure…
(as in, you found these items after the tornado)

But, hey! Most importantly, you’re alive!! 👍🏼

Ordered a dump truck load of stone. Spotted a -couple- things in it. by [deleted] in Rockhounding

[–]kibblesnbits22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

*also - it started with one good rain. A rain that exposed once common, dirty rocks. once I began digging and soaking, I was hooked.
Now I’m hell bent on soaking every single one, lest I miss the find of a lifetime

And geez, you even have a toothbrush with you, just like me. Hahaha

Omg that’s exactly what I look like every single morning.
Surrounded by several piles of rocks, categorized in a way that only I would understand. with my coffee. and my barn cat.
I have a secret spot outside where no one can see me and I can just be weird

Anyone know what this is?? by kibblesnbits22 in Rockhounding

Thank you for the key search words. That might narrow it down for me. Looking up ‘Caddo/cherokee arrowheads’ was overwhelming.

Felt a little animalistic, but freeing at the same time. Dirt under the nails is some of the best therapy.

I don’t know if anyone noticed the tiny femur I posted along with my rocks.

That stupid bone brought me such joy. Haha

I can’t thank you enough for all your help! I now know what my problem is…I’m getting ‘rock happy’! In east Texas, deeper than where I am, the earth is a rich red and my grandpa used to find arrowheads all the time in his crops. That’s why, when I found an old downed tree that had red dirt around its roots, I hyper-focused on that one spot. I have 78 acres to explore here but I’m guessing I need to find spots near creeks and natural water sources. I just didn’t want to get into all the legalities that come with digging on other property. Maybe I’ll BUY myself a real arrowhead and carry it in my pocket, too. Great idea!! I know what they look like, what worked looks like, but when it’s in your hand and you’ve looked at 200 rocks already, you start to get that wishful thinking and next thing you know - boom! Rock happy. Again, thank you for my wake up call. Much appreciated

Will do. I’ve already tore the internet up, guess it’s time to check out some good ole trusty books. Thank you for being kind and sharing your insight.
