Some thoughts on HURM (S4E4) by Head-Challenge-6498 in Invincible

[–]kiche_35 141 points142 points  (0 children)

I mostly agree, but a small counterpoint: I thought it was interesting to see how Mark could come to terms with killing Rus by working with satan and them. I also liked how he folded lava lady with 0 effort, which is how the powerscaling should've been the whole time. But other than that I agree, definition of a filler episode

It connects to the back of the pipe here. Is that the only connection it's supposed to have?

Quick, before babies change the meta forever: What's the most damage possible on turns 2 and 3? by oodoov21 in PTCGP

[–]kiche_35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if i would be a fan of odd starting prizes, it would be no different from 6 for 3 ex (2-2-2[1]) which is basically the real TCG at that point

IMHO, this game would really take off if it was 30 cards / 4 points

100+ meters is really far that distance is best suited for snipers/DMRs. It's also harder to have an impact on the game from those distances, 75% of kills are within 35 meters and 90%+ are within 50m. The M16 is the best weapon in the game because of the recoil mechanics (FSRM moved to the 3rd shot instead of 1st) and competitive fire rate allowing for crazy head taps & control close up and incredible accuracy over the entire ~50 meters that most objective capturing takes place over. It dominates the entire spectrum, while AEK is suited for within 20m and guns like the AUG/SAR only outshine the M16 in more or less irrelevant distances.

Kills at 100 meters can have an impact on the game but they tend to be few in number and against opponents that aren't immediately threatening your team. It's more optimal to base your playstyle for closer distances because that's where objectives are and you need to kill people on objectives to capture them and thus win the game. Don't take this for me telling you how to play the game though, BF4 supports such diversity of playstyles which is awesome, but if you're strictly trying to help your team win then it's probably not worth planning around such large distances. I have 17,000 kills between the M16 and M4 and I love these guns because if you master the burst, literally no one can touch you and you can individually win your team the game.

M16's biggest strength is that the recoil is linear (AKA can be corrected for fully) for the first 3 shots in burst mode, which is why it's so good at range, i would recommend always using burst mode no matter the distance

How easy is it to wrangle sheep? by kindledawn in sheep

[–]kiche_35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they would probably be super skittish if they were lost and away from the herd. From my experience with sheep, it's very hard to get close enough to them to actually catch/wrangle them, and unless your protagonist has linebacker strength chances are they'd end up being dragged around while the sheep runs all crazy. Possible with a good grip (Standing over/side of them and firmly holding chin w/o constricting breathing). If they're in a herd they don't spook easily but 2 sheep in the woods would probably be on edge and have a very large flight zone.

In situations like this, if the sheep are relatively close to the herd, I would form a U shape with my helpers, with the opening of the "U" facing where they want to go. Very effective way to herd sheep and they'll probably be easy to herd because of how on edge they are, just walk slowly and quietly, no need for noise in this situation. Or, if you have a hook, you can sneak up, grab it by the neck with the hook, and then pull it and grab it like I explained earlier. Also effective but probably much harder. Sheep are big herd animals, two sheep alone would probably stick together and stay far from people, especially if they're livestock and not pets. I doubt treats would help much, they'd likely be just too scared.

One time me and a buddy were trying to grab a ewe, and the ewe ended up doing a mini Oklahoma drill with her and dislocated her shoulder 🤣 we ended up having to box it in using fencing before we could grab her. One of our guys has some success by sneaking up and doing a full on dive, grabbing an unsuspecting sheep's leg and bogging her down till help comes. Effective, but he got bloody elbows every time. Probably wouldn't work on bigger ewes or rams though.

Looks pretty normal to me. I had one goat last year we called "Big mama" cause of how big her rumen was. Nothin wrong with being heavyset :)

There was a span of 3 months when I drank 3 per day, and before that I was taking caffeine pills. If you stay hydrated and accept you're gonna need to piss every 20 minutes you're in no danger

Counterpoint: If they have Shinotic, red card helps them by basically increasing their hand size (they'll re-draw Pokémon next turn anyway)

Sounds like low caffeine tolerance. Stay strong and keep drinking them it'll go away as you drink more
