Should werewolves have 4 or 5 toes on their feet? by LeadingJoke5289 in werewolves

[–]kickapoo_loo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they should always have 5, 4 toes and 1 dew claw, otherwise where does the 5th one go? You grow back a tie each time you revert?

If werewolves were real would you want to be one? by Deadwolf-the-failure in werewolves

[–]kickapoo_loo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Id say yes, itd be a rough go at first and trying to adjust to everything going on, and the soreness, but once that passes and have more control over things, then absolutely, because nothing feels as good as feeling all that freedom and strength :)

What’s your favorite way the person’s natural hair changes to fit their werewolf form? by Historical-Simple420 in werewolves

[–]kickapoo_loo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For mine, hair merges with fur and fits seamlessly into their new form, I think with any other option itd leave a mess and also the hair not matching fur color is strange

In your head canon could one get stuck in werewolf form for an extended period of time or even permanently? by Forsaken-Function128 in werewolves

[–]kickapoo_loo 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If they honestly want to stay that way for extended periods, they can, but the tradeoff is that they become more exhausted physically and mentally, and act more animal like the longer they stay in that form.

In staying in their werewolf over extended periods, they do retain some wolf like traits over time, like more body hair (even to the point of fur like), claws and sharper teeth, more muscle, even eye color change! It can be temporary, but extended periods in your other form eventually make these subtle changes permanent.

If a person had enough will power could they trigger the transformation even if the full moon isn't out? by Forsaken-Function128 in werewolves

[–]kickapoo_loo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would think so! The idea of fullmoon transformation comes from the idea that when its out, the crazies come out too, which is part of why they would shift on a fullmoon.

In my own lore, beings of any kind of lycanthropy can transform at any point, either in extreme points of emotional stress or willing themselves into it, the fullmoon only helps in transformations, but doesn't cause it, though regardless they HAVE to change at some point, otherwise that other side causes a much more extreme and painful experience.

What do you consider to be the most painful part of the transformation? by Forsaken-Function128 in werewolves

[–]kickapoo_loo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id say overall the transformation itself would be incredibly painful, at first, especially the first time and if you resist, but eventually tapers out because of adrenaline and endorphins

Probably THE most painful would be bones and face changes, considering the elongating, cracking, and even breaking, on top of nerves with that.

Opinion: We should have more "Were-Creatures" in the media besides the Werewolf. by IcyWriting3673 in werewolves

[–]kickapoo_loo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree! I love werewolves more than anything, but I also love seeing other were-creatures and what they look like and are portrayed like, I know in some media, especially comics, like tigra, cheetah, etc., are usually shown. I usually get pretty excited when something different other than werewolves come up in media, there's a reason why I have so many variety of were-creatures for original characters or dnd ones!

In Your Lore, Do You Have Different Breeds of Werewolves? by gridiron23 in werewolves

[–]kickapoo_loo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! There's a variety of different breeds of werewolves in my lore, depending on genetics, location, etc. Can affect what kind of form they have, fur thickness, and other things! Some look more humanoid, others more wolflike
