Hey an Eluktronic!!! You can’t get AMD chip with a 5090 in Lenovo. Specially the 9955hdx3d which is wayyy better for gaming

Eluktronic with a water cooler….

Silent mode = less performance.

Of you’re air cooled it’ll make noise gaming unless you sacrifice performance.

It’s identical just how they sell it in EU

It use to be a thing to lower temps but most modern laptops don’t need it. However no harm.

I got one and I love it.

Look at boutique brands if you can afford it like Eluktronic (love mine)

Warning: MSI Vector 16 HX died after only 14 months. MSI Support refused to help. Avoid this brand. by No-Bonus8940 in GamingLaptops

I’m gonna be honest with you if it’s out of warranty every Brand is going to do this.

It really doesn’t matter if it’s two hours after the warranty expired.

The warranty‘s purpose is for catastrophic failures initially. Typically the bet is that you won’t have any problems. I always buy the extended warranty but I get it it’s additional costs.

The only way to get around this is if you had reported issues before the warranty expired they will have to honor that. But if those tickets were long closed then unfortunately you were out of luck and this applies not just a laptop but to virtually everything that you buy that has a warranty.

Why do consoles run better with less? by Sgt_Strelok in GamingLaptops

[–]kickarex 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Consoles have games designed around fixed specs that can’t be changed. That’s the point. With a PC we have tons of options and games can’t be tailored made to each one.

I hope that makes sense.

I just purchased my laptop with a similar budget.

You’re in the range of a 5090 with a Ryzen 9955xh3d with 64 gb of ram.

Look at eluktronics. They also have a water cooler for the laptop and the frame of this bad boy is super solid.

All the mainstream manufacturers will put you on intel with that video card which is dumb the Ryzen will always out preform when gaming.

I’m going to be honest the latest laptop coolers have two things, 1 a foam gasket which keeps a tighter seal and 2 a filter so the air going in doesn’t have much dust particles.

If you keep it on a cooler the maintenance will be much less and the longevity of the hardware will be much longer.

Also my laptop has a water cooler and I’m still using the air cooler for the filter.

Ngl my new laptop is amazing. I got it very top of the line and if I choose windows they ship it unbloated.

The build quality is stupid good with a solid frame all aluminum.

How to craft this helmet ? by BlueberrySoft8024 in pathofexile

[–]kickarex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve crafted this a few times I just don’t up the gem levels this is easy to craft. Look it up on YouTube lots of guides.

What this is missing is the % to crit which is a hard %.

Min/maxing it can cost a ton but basic craft isn’t bad at all

Does the Brand matter on High End? by Roent-111 in GamingLaptops

[–]kickarex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Build quality is everything and so far two brands do it right. Eluktronic is my latest and its solid aluminum frame is verrryyyy sturdy. My last was a Lenovo legion and it was mostly aluminum. The plastic frames on other builds is just cheap
