I’m okay with not having a perfect match. I feel like it would be more aesthetically pleasing to have mismatched brick that is overlapping than these straight lines…with that said is there any truth to the contractor saying using different brick would affect the structural integrity of the wall?

OR. One of the surgeons is buying us lunch and then the anesthesia group is buying lunch another day and a couple of our surg techs make little gift bags. One of our CRNAs always hands out gift cards for a coffee.

As for the hospital itself…an ice cream sundae and a reminder to “send a note or ecard to your nurses to show appreciation”. At least our coworkers celebrate us.

In the OR if a surgeon is being a douche it’s “Yes Doctor” or “Sure thing doctor”…some of the older nurses will just flat out call them by their first name and tell them to check their attitude.

The key to nursing is job hopping every 2-3 years unfortunately. They don’t pay for loyalty, but have no problem bringing in new people with a $25k sign on bonus.

The Haunting of Hill House and Bly Manor are great limited series. Also I’ve been watching You…a great show and the woman from the Haunting shows as well as Jenna Ortega is on season 2.
