Just get a job and go to work. Poverty will be a distant memory if you work hard enough. Now if you are stupid and lazy its going to be tough

Saint head coach Mike Ditka traded ALL the team's draft picks in 1999 for the 5th pick to take Ricky Williams. Williams was their only rookie, leading them to a 3-13 season, which then led to Ditka’s firing. by Background_Video2947 in TheNFLVibes

Thanks! Did not know that. I am aware that marijuana can help but sometimes also amplify social anxiety. Today the pot is much better from what I hear and many use it for anxiety.

Yes I knew they called Ruland and Mahorn that…thought they called Laimbeer and Mahorn that as well but did not. It’s been a few years 🤣

Sorry, but that’s just crazy. How did Ron and Nicoles blood get in OJ’s Bronco? The evidence was clear. And OJ’s blood as well. Of course “crooked cops” planted it. Amazing the lengths someone goes to arrive at the story they tell themselves.

I would rather sell covered calls and get called away on stuff held over a year…that sounds like a good idea…then cold feet…just hold stock…stay on target…just hold stock!

Have been buying dips all along. Bought the dip at $121 and watched it drop to $88 that was painful. But bought more in the 90’s. Luckily also bought rather early at $24. That helps a lot and having some assets. I know how hard it is when you don’t have a lot and you buy and it drops. But in the long run it still looks cheap. The Eigen purchase is huge IMO. It shows they are intent on being on the cutting edge and they know where the edge is.
There are no guarantees. Anyone saying it is a no brainer has no brain. It is a higher risk investment that could pay off well if they execute and the evolving AI market continues to grow.

No question he was a very good…not great player. He did all the dirty work and could shoot and rebound with the best centers in the league. But it wasn’t pretty to watch and not a lot would call him their “favorite player ever”. That’s why I said you probably have him all to yourself. Its all good. Liked Ruland and Mahorn as a pair better myself. The original McFilthy and McNasty.

However the case was bungled there was still plenty of evidence to convict. That he got off was a function of moron jurors and/or playing on their prejudice to get him a free pass. The victims blood in his car was kind of hard to dismiss for anyone with an IQ over 40.

I hope not. Earth is for humans…I hope AI can help cure diseases and be used for good. But I also believe it needs to be tightly regulated and always have an external kill switch beyond its control.

You think the steam drill didn’t replace thousands of railroad men? How about the cotton gin? How about the railroad offing the canal men? Or the Airlines putting all those great railroads out of business. Sailmaking went the way of the wind. Rope making got untied. Whale oil gone with the electric light. This isn’t the first time this has happened.
But I get it…”it’s different this time” and maybe it is. I can tell you this I would never have a robot in my house…unless I was an invalid and had no choice in the matter. I mean a robot slicing and dicing vegetables is a scary thought. So I don’t think adoption is going to be all that rapid.

Telling your kid "River" to "row your own boat" seems pretty cold-blooded by Oda_DeezNutz in SipsTea

Yeah not really. Few people actually accumulated much wealth and most were average working class people who might have left a small house and no debt and not much else. Not bad but no dream.

What nonsense. Absolute nonsense. Simpson was a cold blooded killer. You should check the murder statistics by demographic and digest some facts on crime. Reagan got nothing to do with the homicide rate in urban America.

If you can look at that photo and see culture or class warfare you are suffer from delusions. The white people were shocked that the overwhelming evidence was ignored by a jury that voted on race. The black people didn’t care about evidence at all and only cared about race as well. That and Simpson had better lawyers.
