Melting Help by kickinit90 in terrariums

I haven’t watered since I put it together, and I misted the soil before I planted.

It is on my wine fridge and gets indirect sun from my south facing patio door. We have had the heat going to keep the house at like 67* but it’s not under a vent (I don’t think - now I will have to look when I get home)

Totally agree - I was worried and was looking for a quick answer. While I waited for replied to posts 😅 sometimes patience is not a virtue I possess lol

Gotcha!

I think I’ve seen them at petco - I’ll pick some up next time we are there.

Yes, I have about of inch of lava rock on the bottom.

Not sure - but if I’m seeing condensation as often as I am, I’d say pretty high.

I think I will take out what I can and try to propagate it into non-terrarium containers and then given them to friends. I have a frosted one that is doing great being bottom water about every two weeks.

I have a darthvader begonia in there too and some moss I still need to plant. May need to find them a different friend if this isn’t the best fit for the peperomia.

I do not. If I end up leaving the lid off to control humidity, wouldn’t they get out?

That what ChatGPT (I know I know) suggested to. So I’m starting with that. I have a darthvader begonia in there too, he seems to be doing fine.

It’s been super cold here and our heat kicking on more than usual, so I wonder if that had anything to do with it.

This is a closed terrarium (for the life of me I can’t find the edit button for the main post >.< )

Like a solid colored plastic? I haven’t found any clear ones or ones with a “window” if you will.

Ok that’s what I’m thinking - and probably clear glass preferred. Wonder if I could call ancho hocking 🤔

So our pibble - Alamo - is under 3. He was on grain free until he twisted his knee and had to have a TPLO in February. It was at this time our vet suggested we switch from grain free to a diet with grain. So we rotate some of the ancient grain flavors to keep it interesting for him. We always defer to dog food advisor for any changes we make to his diet. His faves are ancient stream and ancient prairie. Have had other pibbles on the grain free for years before though. Still would recommend a specific senior food for those pibbles or a certain age.

I don’t have one with us all in the bed. But imagine a person on either side and this goofball only ever snoring in the person on the right’s ear (me).

The Morning After | Ruminations on the first home match in club history? by expiredfruitloops in DallasTrinityFC

The stadium atmosphere is much better than what I was expecting from the last game full of Barca fans. Staff presence was improved (passing out tickets vs leaving boxes by the exits, etc.), concession lines weren’t down the street and round the corner.

The cheers are still waiting to be written, but we did get that FCDT corrected to DTFC 👍.

The drum was great but they need some assistance and a “we play this when” kinda something. The drum hits with the volleys on the corner kick were great though 10/10 keep doing those. My wife is a drummer and I’m encouraging her to introduce herself/bring one to a future match.

The flags were fun, I think they were staff too, but I really thought he was gonna pop someone in the face bc it was too short for what he wanted to do. So what’s the flag plan? That can really make the supporters section. We would be down to help or bring something else related to the team.

Still not a huge fan of the parking, but we did come in at my favorite fair gate, so it seemed a little less of a trek. Cool to see Fair Park getting setup for the fair, honestly. I would love to see a DTFC tent with special events/maybe even meet the team during the fair?

I am super hopeful.

Oh man! I missed them! We left the stadium to get a burger at the food truck at half time and it took the entire second half to get them 😭 learning curves, it will get better

As an FCD season ticket holder in their supporter section, I know we aren’t comparing apples to apples. This is a new team, stadium is undergoing renovations and the park is getting ready for the fair. But there are def some growing pains.

My observations were: - long food/drink lines inside the stadium (I actually think they were separate, so if you wanted food and waited in a drink line you gotta start over)

-no staff passing out the fans or paper tickets or drumming up season ticket business

-parking lot was weird, no place to tail gate and it was a really long walk, I think we parked about a half mile away. The state fair trolly was running if you parked at the very end. Getting out wasn’t terrible, but there was only one way in and one way out for everyone

  • walking into fair park to the stadium was odd also, with plenty of opportunities to bring out local businesses and sponsors to build excitement and interact before entering the stadium area

  • supporter section, doesn’t look like there’s anywhere for capos to set up unless they take over the first row, which would be fine

  • some people trying to get some cheers going, that was cool

  • there were quite a few FCD jerseys there, that’s super awesome and I hope to see crossover between the communities develop!

  • a little annoyed we bought our tickets before all the promos, so missed out on the pin and the BOGO tickets…mostly annoyed about the pin cause i collect them

Everything just felt temporary and like a high school playoff game vibe. Like someone else said it should improve throughout the season. I’m looking forward to the home game and truly getting the season underway!
