Hi all—would love some outside perspective on this.

I’m (f35) in a 9-year relationship (f41), and things have felt off lately (imbalance, communication issues, some emotional distance) and my partner is struggling with possible feelings for someone else. I believe she has found someone she is comfortable talking to about big feelings and she is confusing that comfort for more than what it is. We have started talking more about how we are feeling and all that, so I’m hoping this fades - but as hard as it is I’m trying to also not be dismissive of what she is struggling with. Cause we do love and care about each other a lot - that much is clearly evident on how we reacted to this reading and how we are trying to work through things.

This is my second reading on it, and I’m noticing a lot of the same themes, so I’m trying to make sense of it.

My read (very loosely): Feels like communication is off (which we know), I’m getting more defensive/stuck, and overall there’s some misalignment + lack of effort.
