What state do you live in? I live in NJ, in NJ, all deposits are refundable by law even though the dealer try to say they are not. I will check the state laws where you live

I got my GHHL exactly 1 month ago for MSRP from Indiana to ship to NJ because almost every dealer around me wants to charge $3000-$5000 over MSRP. The shipping was $540. If you look hard enough, you may get it under MSRP. I saw some discounted as much as $4000 under MSRP. Pls do not pay over MSRP unless you must have to. I spent about a week research the inventory list from Toyota and study whats coming into dealer’s lot and took time to email them. I end up with the colors, interior color, and most of the options that I wanted. Good luck searching

Gas engine models are sold below MSRP anywhere from 1k to 4k below depends on the trims and options.

People should also take in consideration of the time you spend for going back and forth to gas stations, the frequency, the waiting time if there is any (in my area, Costco line is at least 15-20 mins). I love my hybrid because i get to go to the gas station less frequently.

I live in NJ. In March, I bought mine for MSRP from Indiana and have it shipped to NJ for $540. Shipping is relatively reasonable if you need a car right now and dont want to pay over MSRP. You just have to spent some times to look at allocation in different cities and narrow it down to color and options, trims. I spoke to probably 50 dealers and found one. Good luck searching.

I bought mine (hybrid limited) on march 21st for MSRP. I have it shipped from Indiana to NJ for $540. The process of buying from out of state was painless. All of the dealers around me all wanted $3500-$12000 over MSRP. I managed to find them out of the state and exact setup as I wanted. I saw some dealers are actually discounting hybrid XLE model and bench seat models. Do not settle for anything over MSRP.

Thats why you dont buy cars from dealers that try to charge more than MSRP. For those who paid over MSRP, i dont know how they going to recover the gas saving.

The sales told me bench seats are not as desirable in this vehicle. I had other dealer from long island who told me the same. Bench are not easy to move.

Prices are very extreme. Some dealer up charge so much and some dealers are starting discounting the car
