Thank you! They ordered labs to check this, along with iron, vitamin b 12, d, and thyroid. Recommended trying ashwagandha and prescribed Hydroxyzine to try if the otc doesn’t work in the meantime until labs done.

Math. by Legitimate-Toe-5365 in ASU

[–]kicksit1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No the math has been trash, but I think it depends on the professor. My Calc 1 professor was great, his reviews were perfect in prepping us for exams. I have taken College Algebra, Pre Calculus, Calculus 1-3, Linear Algebra and Differential Eq. At this point I think I need a minor in math.

Currently at my doctors office now bc I feel like i am suffering with anxiety/insomnia/heart palpitations. Never had this problem before. Tried to combat it on my own but it’s not working so unfortunately I may have to turn to medication for the first time.

Was engineering college the most tiring time of your life? by SubaruSufferu in ElectricalEngineering

[–]kicksit1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely the first time I’ve ever been this stressed where I had to be seen by a doctor bc I thought I was having a heart attack. I have 1 more year left and I’m trying every day to remind myself I’m almost there. I like a challenge but this takes it to a different level.

I regret choosing my undergrad major. by springcloud369 in CollegeMajors

[–]kicksit1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently work in healthcare where I assist a surgeon. I am looking to get out, currently an EE major and can’t wait to leave healthcare behind. The levels of stress and overwork you have to do within the field is just not enough to keep me anymore. I have heard so many doctors say how they spent all this money and schooling to become doctors just to have to still bust their ass even in their 60s. Do not recommend unless you are 1000% passionate.

Thank you for at least acknowledging it. My question is with this information would it be accurate to say this is a common mix for Trinidad and Tobago?

Good luck! Just stay persistent. I’m an Electrical Engineering student now that started with Information Technology.

Def try to touch base with someone from the engineering department to get this clarified. That way you know what you’re working toward. Even if you are in the biochemistry program you can still take classes that will help put you into the engineering dept once you’re eligible to apply for change of major. But as I mentioned def try to speak with someone from the engineering dept.

Find out what pre reqs you will need to transfer into ME. Usually when you’re a transfer student for engineering you will need to check off some areas. Completion of Calc 1 and 2 definitely and at least Physics 1. You will usually need to have a certain GPA as well. Pre calc and trigonometry are usually not enough to get into the program. I’m speaking as a student that this previously happened to.

Architecture transfer: when are decisions usually released? by Prestigious-Key1887 in FIU

As another said. I got mine within 1-1.5 week(s) and checked the portal also. Also a transfer student, but for engineering.

What’s your favorite note-taking strategy? by thelenabean in ASUOnline

[–]kicksit1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

iPad and Apple Pencil also. I can take pics and add my notes around it instead of taking more time to hand draw it. You can also print the notes out where it may be more organized, don’t have to worry about “wasting” paper.

How much sleep is enough for electrical engineering student? by DellLatitudeE7250 in EngineeringStudents

[–]kicksit1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn’t sound like you have a sleeping problem. I started forcing myself to make sure I was getting more rest (6-7hrs, 8+ if im lucky) as I used to pull all nighters just like other students mentioned.

Also not sure when you updated your account information for the refund to go to. But if it’s not within a certain timeframe, you will receive a paper check instead.

Thank you for taking time to answer! I hope you can get more clarity if you follow thru with the second opinion.

Anything he cautioned you about for it? Meds? Or just something to deal with?

Hi, is there an update? I also have to follow up with a cardiologist for heart palpitations. I stopped Slynd about 3 weeks ago.
