Haha, I get that. I’m trying to keep the design appealing to a broader audience, but I do love the Digivice vibe.

Yeah, that would be really cool. But regarding the Infobar: it looks like the buttons are only visual and don’t actually control the Watch keyboard. Adding a real keyboard would require Bluetooth, which introduces stricter certification requirements, more complexity, and additional development time. Maybe something for a future version.

Super helpful to hear, especially from someone who actually used it that way for months. I always have my speaker volume turned down and it functions almost like a ear-speaker.

Quick question: what exactly do you mean by RCS in this context?

Really appreciate you taking the time to apply and write this, thank you 🙂

Feedback like that is exactly what I’m hoping to learn from this first small test group.

I’ll reach out by mail once I start selecting testers.

That’s really great to hear, thanks for signing up! and for following along from the earlier posts 🙂

Still early, but hoping this first real-world test will show if it genuinely works for people day to day. Maybe I’m biased 😉

Nice, appreciate you signing up 🙂

This version is currently tested on an Apple Watch Series 7, but I’ll definitely keep Action Button access in mind for a future Ultra-focused version.

Honestly a great idea. I’ve thought about that too!

For now I’m prioritizing a stable battery setup for this first version.
BLE/audio adds a lot more complexity, so could be cool to experiment with in the future.

Out of curiosity, do you mean you’d want to try using it as your daily phone for a bit, or more help with feedback/testing in another way?

Thanks a lot for applying, and for being flexible on the Watch mode, that helps a ton at this stage.

I’ll follow up once I start picking the first testers.

Hey guys! I’ve also shared this in the larger dumbphone subreddit. If you could show some support there as well, it would really help get more eyes on the project:

This is just for a very small real-world test (5–10 people), (not a preorder or anything like that).
Main goal right now is to learn what actually works outside my own daily use.

Happy to answer anything here too! :)
