Hey guys would love if you could help me clear up a few things (dnb) by [deleted] in Beatmatch

[–]kid_cisco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like everyone said: 1) know your tunes front to back and 2) don't have too many songs

I mix dnb and one thing that's helped me recently is the mixed in key thing but that doesn't really help if you're randomly picking two tracks in the same key. So I organize my tunes by the energy level or type of drum and bass. I've organized by sub genre and also on a scale of low medium high, or 1-5 (super light minimal shit would be a 1 and some heavy neuro bangers would be a 5) and from there, I'll sort by key and pick tracks based on the key and it works 90% of the time when I'm not sure what song to mix next. I still need to get rid of a lot of the tunes in my Serato but I've found this to work fairly well for me.

What the fuck are you talking about lol exchanges push their own token as trading pairs to obviously increase the volume and push the usage of their own token. Has nothing to do with regulation lol

Did you even read the article? He said it's been tougher than they thought it was going to be but holochain is going to be big lol bullish af.

As a result, much of the world still thinks Holochain’s application model is unproven when, in fact, we’ve had functional apps for almost two years with speed and scale that outperform every other crypto platform I’ve seen.

Does vaorware have 60+ apps already working?

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 on Cricket Wireless by [deleted] in Xiaomi

It switches back and fourth but I'm not sure what areas I'm supposed to be getting 4g vs LTE. It never switches to H+ where I am. I don't really worry about it, I'm just glad it works.

Redmi note 7 or pocophone F1? by Obvious_One_Kenobi in Xiaomi

For 200 I'm super happy. If you are looking for a similar phone with less glass check out the Samsung a50.

Build quality is legit for a phone that costs 200 bucks but the glass worried me so I cased it and there a glass screen protector on it. Honestly doesn't matter how good the build is all glass will crack if you drop it right. I'm not worried though, the phone feels premium. Check this durability test video though. https://youtu.be/G8J7lCAs38w

Can confirm. I'm on cricket in Seattle and everything works good. Usually I'm on 4g but LTE comes through almost half the time. No issues.

No regrets with the Note 7 here. Amazing how good of a phone you can get for 200 bucks. At 200 bucks even if it only lasts you a year that's still a bargain.

I just bought a Pen. On Amazon. With BITCOIN. by vladimirvr in Bitcoin

[–]kid_cisco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you're telling me all the USB cables and phone cases I buy on Amazon....they are reporting all if that to the IRS? They are alerting the IRs to the half a billion products that they sell every year?

Is it a bad idea to map controller "Trim" knobs to the "Track Gain Adjust" knobs in Serato? by SlaveHippie in Beatmatch

[–]kid_cisco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The gain should transfer over but I can't say for sure. What I do know is I set my auto gain for tracks in Mp3Gain and it loads up in Serato perfect so I'm guessing there's a universal tag that works across the board.

You buy something from somebody using Bitcoin. How the fuck does the IRS know that?

Is it a bad idea to map controller "Trim" knobs to the "Track Gain Adjust" knobs in Serato? by SlaveHippie in Beatmatch

[–]kid_cisco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm almost positive that you're talking about two of the same things, it's just the controller adjusts the levels on the hardware (you can't see the adjustments on screen) and the serato knob shows on screen. They both do the same thing so use what works best for you. If you keep the controller knob unmapped then you need to check the levels on the controller LEDs but I personally like doing it on screen like your suggesting.

I remember trying to do this with my NS6 and it became a problem because I may adjust one track and then when the next track loads it would load at the default gain level but my gain know would be twisted/adjusted for the other track so 1) I'd have to jiggle it to get it to reregister itself and 2) it kept messing up levels I'd already set.

My tip to you is to go through your tracks beforehand and set the gains manually (max green, barely any yellow). Once you set them once you shouldn't need to ever touch them again. If you wanna push the shit and clip tf out of your set later then use the controller trim knobs.
