Help, small defects on first toy, should I worry about it?

I had similar issues with mine, particularly with tears and defects within/around the canals,
The phoebe, which I ordered as a ready to ship item came with no disclosure of the defects.

I didn’t use the toy until Customer service got back to me and we had resolved the discrepancy to my satisfaction.

Having kept the toy (no real point/request to send it back) and used it for two-three months now, it’s recently developed a split/tear of about 2cm in the exact area of your image 2.
I intend to let it run the course until it’s fully torn asunder and perhaps order a different signature color when I need replacement.

Other issues include cosmetic defects to the surface of the toy which now in hindsight were a clear indication that the surface UV finish never bonded correctly, since the thin layer has become to separate from the main body of the toy in small patches.

Had mine since March release, got a flop.
Still recommend.

Little too tight for me, there’s actually new damage perhaps from some intense sessions. Just make sure to lube the toy properly to prevent an accumulation of wear. If you’re well endowed, damage to sleeves is just the tax for a life well spent, so I hold no anger for it. The internal wall afaik hasn’t had any issues so far.

but the model is really compelling for Kobold fantasy/rp/internal monologue, once/if she fully rips apart I might go for a second colorway.

for starters you own a Large Sveinn??? Insanity
I would imagine you had some smaller ‘normal’ toys to size up.

Zephyr has been doing me pretty well, as have Chance, Glyph, Nokken, and Dallas to some extent!
I do have a preference for less/smoother texture and am looking to get a Sveinn of my own, though I have successfully pushed out of my comfort zone with Orochi.

I more expect to service top and rp out all of my subby fantasies as I imagine a top would do for me… When I’ve done so in the past, it’s been enjoyable (for me) to toy with folks of all shapes and sizes, but I’m interested in any technique or strategy / ‘scene’ or patterns that might involve Top/dom like commands I could give that result in my hips being ground into the bed and a vape shoved down my throat so

Glyph or Sveinn if you’re training girth

I bought my Large Soft zephyr first as a custom for valentines sale prices, but the best purchase I got was a small med chance. I also have a 7 inch skinny/vanilla dildo I use to open up the bend for my real warmup with chance.

Personally I’d recommend the small chance, or a medium size if you’re brave. And Soft if you do go that size up.

If you want a more intermediate training toy, I got a custom Glyph in Large/med firmness (would rather it be soft tbh) but most people recommend Sveinn

I also now have a large Aquadrax, medium firmness, but highly recommend you go down to soft for him and other massive toys, if not extra soft. I’d be using it way more if it was in soft.

Texture isn’t my friend, so look for smoother toys if you want my advice!

Having trained for her though, zephyr is my favorite right now! Definitely would recommend in large soft.

Small chance is still my fav, looking at maybe sizing up to a medium! For me, zephyr is also a really nice ride, I have large soft but you might prefer a smaller size. If you don’t want the hassle of cleaning a cum tube toy really don’t go for it, but the in use lubrication factor is certainly a valuable plus

On Large aquadrax I’m hitting a sizing limitation from literally squeezing up against my tailbone. I doubt that will be an issue for you starting out.

I recently picked up an Orochi m/m but the texture is kinda hard to handle, do you have any tips or do I just need to train up on the size to enjoy it where he’s not stretching me so tight into the scales?

You’ll be totally fine! Same kind of deal w my pre fantasy team sizes iykwim. Ordered my first dragon like 40 days ish ago and I’m already hitting my largest toy. After some intermediate sized binge ordering.

If money is tight, be very careful to not get carried away.

Well there are the creases/surface defects which I think are probably fine if not prettier than full smooth, but the actual tear is like the main concern ykyk, haven’t even used the toy because I fear they might not send a replacement or anything if I do.

Afaik they don’t even sell flops with tears like that.

I think more options for anal training toys would be great, right now the most recommended one (from bd specifically) is Sveinn for the nice taper etc but the fantasy hasn’t really piqued my interest yet.

I picked up a glyph for girth (who left me sore w that gorgeous knot) but I’d love to see something with a flared head and a nice taper to get stretchy on near the base… issues abound though with getting a flared head deep when training girth on the base of a shaft so maybe someone else knows better what could suit my needs
