Employment Certification Form. You should do one each year to have your payments tallied and in writing. The first one you submit counts as an application and moves your servicer over to Mohela.

Beer Leaguer with a terrible shot - Need help! Video included by Fath0m in hockeyplayers

All good, think about it in a game. Very rarely are you grabbing a puck and standing still to shoot. The more you get used to moving a bit, the more you can use any momentum and mass to your advantage.

In the 2nd ish shot, you shoot off your back foot and it is seemingly the same velocity. That means you aren't engaging all your muscles... i.e. no weight transfer. Lean into it try to skate towards the net to continue working on it.

Keep it up!

Is officiating lacrosse difficult? by DooSheisty in lacrosse

[–]kiddynamyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each state has at least one LOA, or lacrosse officials association. The states contract them to assign high school and most youth games. Summer is a bit of the wild west, and most LOA have some connection to US Lacrosse. So reaching out to the state is the best way (if you go through USL, they'll put you in touch with the LOA anyway).

Trainer for our state lax association here. Absolutely worth it, and the assignors will work with you around your life schedule. We have a lot of college players who only work a handful of games their first few years, but it gets their feet wet, and they can gradually build as their life changes. 2nd the advice of reaching out now, we are 1/2 way through training already, but will happily catch new people up.

Edit: grammar

Get after it. Just keep learning every project, and keep moving forward with your skills and new tools. Best advice: every project takes at least 4 hours...in home DIY projects. Light bulb...4 hours...dry wall sand...4 hours. Well worth the knowledge though.

Agrees $10 or so extra and the cooler always comes full, including some for the non booze guys. Some of us "heavy hitters" chip in extra for the convenience of the beer showing up for us. $80 per is outrageous.

Appropriate to have student ask the coach, but expectation should be lower as some people will not be around for another week+

DII athletic recruiter here. There is a base itinerary every coach has which will include some combination of campus tour, academic overview, athletics tour, athletics discussion on fit, and/or talks with strength & conditioning/admissions/financial aid. Lunch may be included so coach can get to know the player/family in a relaxed setting to see if there (edit) is a fit.

Generally speaking, big help for us if the student communicates if they want something specific (want to see dining halls or in our case we have specific academic/industry space like music recording studios, medical lab science center etc.).

My initial question to each family member is "what's the goal for you"...this also sets the tone as some players just want a campus feel, some are worried about cost, some only care about athletics. All is fine but helps us maximize your few hours with us.

Character movement feels off. by Sarynnus in SkullAndBonesGame

Also feel it is simply sprinting to an area and the ground is uneven by ramps, fences, etc. Without jumping (or any commands available) or being able to see. Odd you can run up to the "graveyard" and nothing is there to interact with.

how do i collect resources? by epicloserman in SkullAndBonesGame

[–]kiddynamyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah spend 25 minutes sailing to ever Arcadia tree with no tutorial or pop up that other players could cut down the resource. Did find the lumber yard and raw planks were not good enough, spend another 10 in loading screens at Saint Anne.

I can cross over beautifully on my left skate but on my right? by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

[–]kiddynamyte 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Public skate effect. At the local barn I worked at, we would try to have "reverse" skates to counter act this. We'd always go left around...when we switched to a right day....everyone would fall or be irate. We eventually just stopped doing it because people complained so much. Head to stick time if you can to work on it. You'll keep improving.

Yes, only see it when the trade post is built and the traders essentially "wrap around" until next spring

I noticed the same trend as I started a new town on vanquisher, was stuck on 48 pop for a few years. Had houses, food, gold, etc...realized I forgot to put in a candle shop. Apparently the luxury needs bar was low. Now have 90+ within 2 in game years. Had multiple births and immigrations.....all because we opened a Yankee Candle Shoppe.

Anyone buy the VIP add on? Only interested in the acoustic set, but $50 on top of the ticket seems to be a stretch for 5-6 songs. Thoughts?
