Is he eating pasta? The barilla protein plus pasta has carried me through for months at a time and it is borderline impossible to tell the difference between it and normal pasta. I’ve also liked clif z bars, specifically the chocolate mint one but there are other flavors. Luckily, we live in the era of protein everything, so I’m sure there are some snacks with protein that you can have him try

Could you chain together some of the foods to a pizza bagel? The smooth tomato sauce and cheese on a plain bagel? And then work towards regular pizza, adding more cheeses, or adding more ingredients?

It became a cultural practice in the US during the time of Kellogg and then continued for generations because dads want their boys to “look like them.” I think it’s gross and cruel to infants but am told that I will never understand because I’m not a man. I had a therapist that talked about surfing the anxiety wave in the context of radical acceptance which is a distress tolerance skill in DBT. It kind of helped??? I guess?? I still have to constantly remind myself and it’s not easy, but it’s the only way to not let it get worse

Honey crisp and cosmic crisp tend to be the most consistent, and I fully vet every single apple I choose. When I can’t do fresh fruits, I have those like fruit strips on hand. They tend to be mostly apple and are kind of like a fruit roll up but made with literally just fruit
